Disneyland Paris is entering a whole new royal era — and this time, the princesses are ready for an adventure!

Disney Adventure World has officially welcomed its first-ever cavalcade, bringing four beloved Disney Princesses, elaborate new floats, original music, interactive performances, and an unbelievable amount of handcrafted detail to Disneyland Paris. But this is not simply another traditional princess procession. The brand-new Disney Princess Cavalcade was created exclusively for the newly transformed second park, and Disney packed the experience with enough hidden details, familiar characters, and impressive production numbers to make us want to examine every float from every possible angle.

Beginning July 24, 2026, guests visiting Disney Adventure World at Disneyland Paris can experience a brand-new daytime entertainment offering starring Moana, Rapunzel, Tiana, and Raya.

The Disney Princess Cavalcade celebrates the courage, optimism, and adventurous spirit of all four princesses through vibrant storytelling, four elaborately themed floats, interactive performance moments, and two completely original songs created specifically for Disneyland Paris.

It is also the first-ever cavalcade designed for Disney Adventure World, marking another major addition to the park as its ambitious transformation and expansion continue.

Unlike an entertainment offering brought over from another Disney destination, the Disney Princess Cavalcade was imagined specifically for this evolving Disneyland Paris park. That means guests will only be able to experience this particular princess production at Disney Adventure World.

Where Does the Disney Princess Cavalcade Take Place?

The new Disney Princess Cavalcade begins in front of the future immersive world inspired by Disney’s The Lion King.

From there, the procession travels through Disney Adventure World toward The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge. After reaching that area, the cavalcade returns along the same route.

Guests will not simply stand along the pathway and watch the floats pass, either.

Midway through the Disney Princess Cavalcade, the procession transforms into an interactive celebration. Select guests may be invited to learn portions of the choreography alongside the performers, including dancing with Moana and practicing martial arts-inspired movements with Raya.

A lively troupe of performers accompanies the princesses and helps turn the daytime cavalcade into a more participatory Disney entertainment experience.

Four Disney Princess Floats Bring Their Worlds to Life

Four themed floats form the centerpiece of the Disney Princess Cavalcade, with one colorful creation inspired by each featured princess.

Disney describes the floats as vibrant postcards brought to life, allowing guests to travel through four dramatically different Disney worlds during one procession.

Moana’s Motunui-Inspired Float

Moana’s float transports guests to the tropical shores of Motunui.

The design draws inspiration from the textures, natural materials, colors, and adventurous energy associated with Moana’s home and her journey across the ocean.

Guests should also look closely for two familiar friends joining the adventure: Pua and Heihei.

Rapunzel’s Snuggly Duckling Float

Rapunzel’s portion of the cavalcade brings the playful and theatrical atmosphere of the Snuggly Duckling Tavern into Disney Adventure World.

The float and its accompanying performers draw inspiration from the memorable tavern and its collection of intimidating (but secretly dream-filled) bandits.

Pascal also appears in the cavalcade, so keep an eye out for Rapunzel’s tiny chameleon companion among the colorful details.

Raya’s Heart Palace-Inspired Float

Raya’s float incorporates the majestic artistic influences of the Heart Palace from Raya and the Last Dragon.

Her portion of the procession celebrates Raya’s strength, determination, martial arts abilities, and Southeast Asian-inspired world.

Tuk Tuk also joins the Disney Princess Cavalcade, bringing another familiar face from Raya’s adventures to Disneyland Paris.

Tiana’s New Orleans-Inspired Float

Tiana’s float captures the vibrant energy, music, colors, and visual influences of New Orleans.

The design also blends in elements inspired by the bayou, creating a lively celebration worthy of the hardworking princess from The Princess and the Frog.

Ray, the lovable Cajun firefly, appears among the familiar characters represented throughout the cavalcade.

The Floats Were Inspired by Disney Concept Art

Rather than directly recreating individual scenes from the four Disney films, the creative team behind the Disney Princess Cavalcade took a different approach.

One of the production’s biggest challenges involved translating two-dimensional Disney concept artwork into fully realized, three-dimensional floats.

The team focused on capturing the artistic energy of the original concept art through hand-painted finishes, expressive textures, bold silhouettes, layered visual elements, and vibrant colors.

Each float was designed to tell a story from every angle.

From a distance, the silhouettes and bright color palettes create a strong visual impact. As the floats move closer, guests can discover intricate patterns, hidden details, handcrafted components, and artistic touches throughout each princess’s unit.

The completed floats are intended to feel as though the distinctive worlds of Moana, Rapunzel, Tiana, and Raya have moved off the screen and directly into Disney Adventure World.

More Than 600 People Helped Create the Cavalcade

Bringing the Disney Princess Cavalcade to life required a massive collaboration.

More than 600 creators, artisans, engineers, musicians, and performers contributed to the production. Their work included float design, float fabrication, costume creation, prop construction, choreography, music production, engineering, and live performance development.

The completed cavalcade features:

• Four elaborate Disney Princess floats
• 38 performers
• 287 hours of rehearsals
• Original costumes designed and produced in France
• Two new songs created exclusively for Disneyland Paris
• Nearly 50 musicians contributing to the soundtrack

Every costume, prop, performer, and production element was designed to help create a seamless connection between the individual princesses and their themed floats.

The Original Costumes Were Designed in France

All of the original Disney Princess Cavalcade costumes were designed and produced in France.

Each performer’s wardrobe draws inspiration from the visual identity of the princess and world they accompany.

The designs also had to balance theatrical detail with comfort and freedom of movement, allowing performers to dance and interact with guests throughout changing seasons and weather conditions.

Raya’s Performer Costumes

The performers accompanying Raya wear silhouettes inspired by Southeast Asian visual influences.

Their costumes help connect Raya’s live performance unit to the colors, shapes, movement, and artistic identity of her float.

Moana’s Performer Costumes

Moana’s performers wear costumes featuring handcrafted textures and natural-looking materials.

The designs include raffia details, shells, and macramé accents, creating a visual connection to the island setting and ocean-inspired world of Moana.

Rapunzel’s Performer Costumes

Rapunzel’s troupe wears exaggerated, theatrical costumes inspired by the bandits from the Snuggly Duckling.

The playful designs bring the quirky personalities and over-the-top theatrical energy of the tavern characters into the cavalcade.

Tiana’s Performer Costumes

Tiana’s performers combine New Orleans-inspired street style with patterns influenced by the bayou.

The costumes include water lily motifs, connecting the lively city atmosphere of New Orleans with the natural imagery associated with the Louisiana bayou.

The Props Include Hundreds of Handcrafted Details

Disney did not hold back when creating the props for the new Disney Princess Cavalcade.

Many of the decorations and performance pieces were individually crafted, cut, sewn, sculpted, painted, or assembled by hand.

Moana’s Kites

Moana’s unit features kites made with nearly 400 feet of hand-frayed jute fringe.

The accompanying bamboo-inspired poles were actually crafted using fishing rods, creating lightweight performance props that still match the natural aesthetic of Moana’s world.

Rapunzel’s Ribbons and Ducks

Rapunzel’s performance troupe incorporates nearly 600 feet of ribbon.

The unit also contains 13 individually sculpted ducks inspired by the Snuggly Duckling, adding even more whimsical tavern details to Rapunzel’s section of the procession.

Raya’s Dragon Flames

Raya’s dragon-inspired elements feature 900 fabric flames.

Each individual flame was cut and sewn separately, creating a layered sense of movement and energy throughout her portion of the cavalcade.

Tiana’s Feathered Props

Tiana’s performers carry elaborate feathered props.

Every one of these pieces was sculpted and painted entirely by hand, bringing even more texture, movement, and New Orleans-inspired theatricality to her performance unit.

Two Original Songs Were Created for Disneyland Paris

The Disney Princess Cavalcade features two entirely new songs created exclusively for this Disneyland Paris entertainment experience.

Instead of rearranging or reimagining existing songs from Moana, Tangled, The Princess and the Frog, or Raya and the Last Dragon, the production team developed original music inspired by themes of courage and optimism.

Both songs feature a contemporary pop sound with uplifting melodies, energetic rhythms, and memorable choruses designed to complement the adventurous tone of the procession.

Approximately 50 musicians contributed to the soundtrack.

Vocals were recorded inside the Disneyland Paris recording studio, while the final music production was completed between Paris and Nashville.

One of the new songs is performed mostly in French, giving the Disney Princess Cavalcade a distinctly local touch. Disney also designed its melody and chorus to be easy to learn, allowing visitors from around the world to sing along even when French is not their first language.

Another Major Addition to Disney Adventure World

The Disney Princess Cavalcade arrives as Disneyland Paris continues transforming its second theme park into Disney Adventure World.

Designed specifically for the reimagined destination, the daytime entertainment offering adds another layer of storytelling to the park’s growing collection of attractions, restaurants, shopping locations, entertainment, and immersive themed worlds.

Between four princesses, four completely different floats, 38 performers, hundreds of handcrafted prop elements, two original songs, and interactive moments for select guests, this is clearly much more than a quick character procession.

The Disney Princess Cavalcade is a celebration of adventure, artistry, music, movement, and some of Disney’s most determined princesses, and it is an experience guests will only find at Disneyland Paris.
