The Ultimate Disney Sweepstakes: FANtastic Prizes is returning as part of the celebration surrounding D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, which will take place in Anaheim, California, from August 14 through August 16, 2026.
Disney describes the returning sweepstakes as a collection of unforgettable prizes and once-in-a-lifetime opportunities from across its theme parks, cruise line, movies, television brands, and travel experiences.
Entries officially opened on July 23, 2026, and Disney fans can enter through August 23, 2026 at the official website.
No purchase is necessary to enter or win. The sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and Washington, D.C., who are at least 18 years old and are current D23 Members. A paid D23 Gold Membership is not required because Disney also offers a complimentary D23 General Membership plan.

One of the newly revealed FANtastic Prizes offers a chance to win a Walt Disney World VIP trip along with an experience tied to The Magic of Disney Animation at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Disney Private VIP Tours are among the most exclusive ways to visit Walt Disney World. A traditional tour includes personalized pre-arrival planning, a flexible start time, assistance from a knowledgeable Disney VIP Tour Guide, visits to multiple Walt Disney World theme parks, and more efficient access to select attractions.
These tours typically cost between $450 and $950 per hour, require a minimum of seven consecutive hours, and can accommodate a party of up to 10 guests. Regular theme park admission is normally required separately.

The Magic of Disney Animation Opens at Hollywood Studios
The Magic of Disney Animation is scheduled to open at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on September 14, 2026.
The new experience will invite guests to laugh, draw, dream, and explore inside a reimagined version of Disney Animation headquarters. It is part of the larger transformation of the former Animation Courtyard into an area inspired by the Walt Disney Studios Lot and Walt Disney Animation Studios campus in Burbank, California.
Inside, guests will be able to explore different parts of the animation process through character encounters, interactive environments, artwork, and new entertainment experiences.
One of the most anticipated additions is Olaf Draws, an interactive drawing experience featuring an Olaf animatronic alongside instruction from Disney animators. The building will also feature a theater experience inspired by the Disney animated short Once Upon a Studio, character experiences representing different stages of animation, and additional areas celebrating Disney’s artistic legacy.
The adjoining area will also include Drawn to Wonderland, a playful environment inspired by the original concept art for Disney’s Alice in Wonderland.
For longtime Hollywood Studios fans, the project represents a return to the park’s animation-focused roots while introducing updated technology, characters, and hands-on experiences for a new generation.

The Walt Disney World VIP trip is only one part of the much larger D23 sweepstakes.
Disney previously confirmed that the 2026 prize collection would also include an opportunity to sail during the inaugural season of the upcoming Disney Believe, a National Geographic Journeys with G Adventures trip to Kenya, and a three-day, two-night trip to Los Angeles to attend the red-carpet world premiere of Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday.
