Want to walk in Walt Disney’s footsteps? D23 is making that possible once again.

D23 has officially announced the return of its fan-favorite Marceline Magic event for 2026, giving Disney fans another opportunity to experience the small Missouri town that helped inspire one of the greatest storytellers of all time. This year’s event is especially meaningful as it continues the celebration of Walt Disney’s 125th birthday and lasting legacy.
D23 Marceline Magic will take place September 18–19, 2026, exclusively for D23 Gold Members. The two-day experience begins on Friday, September 18, with a Sweets & Sips welcome reception in Chillicothe, Missouri, Marceline’s sister city. The following day, guests will travel together to Marceline for a full day of guided exploration, storytelling, and exclusive experiences celebrating Walt Disney’s childhood hometown.

One of the biggest highlights of this year’s event is the addition of Disney Legend Bill Farmer, the longtime voice of Goofy, who will serve as the event’s special host throughout the weekend. Guests will also enjoy a special conversation with Farmer during the evening festivities at the conclusion of the event.
Throughout the day in Marceline, attendees will visit 25 locations connected to Walt Disney’s life, inspiration, and legacy. Featured stops include the Walt Disney Hometown Museum, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary, along with the Walt Disney Post Office, Walt Disney Elementary School, the Santa Fe Museum, and several additional historic locations throughout town. As guests complete each stop, they’ll collect a piece of a commemorative souvenir that comes together to create a unique Marceline-themed keepsake representing all 25 locations.

The experience concludes at the Walt Disney Family Farm, where Walt spent part of his childhood. The evening finale will feature live entertainment, food and beverages, a conversation with Bill Farmer, and a special “kiss goodnight” fireworks celebration.
Tickets for D23 Marceline Magic are $399 per person (plus a $3 processing fee) and will go on sale Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 1 PM ET (10 AM PT) exclusively through the D23 website. The ticket price does not include hotel accommodations, though special hotel rates will be available for ticket holders.

For Disney history enthusiasts, Marceline remains one of the most meaningful destinations in the company’s story. Walt lived in Marceline from 1906 to 1911, and the town famously served as the inspiration for Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland and the Disney parks that followed. This annual D23 event offers fans a rare opportunity to experience those roots firsthand.
