The Minions are heading back to theaters, and some fans can see their latest adventure before opening day.

If you’ve been counting down the days until Illumination’s Minions & Monsters arrives in theaters, there’s a new opportunity to catch the film early.
Fandango has announced exclusive Minions & Monsters Xfinity Early Access Screenings, giving eligible moviegoers the chance to see the newest chapter in the wildly successful Despicable Me and Minions franchise before its nationwide theatrical release.
According to Fandango, the special advance screenings are available for Xfinity members and Fandango account holders, offering fans an opportunity to be among the first audiences to experience the film on the big screen. Tickets for participating screenings are available through Fandango while supplies last.

The early access event arrives just ahead of the film’s official theatrical debut on July 1, 2026, making it one of the first chances for fans to see the latest Minions adventure.
The newest film from Illumination takes the beloved yellow troublemakers back in time to 1920s Hollywood.

According to the official synopsis, the film tells the “rambunctious, ridiculous and totally true story” of how the Minions conquered Hollywood, became movie stars, lost everything, accidentally unleashed monsters upon the world, and then had to work together to save the planet from the chaos they created.
The movie combines the franchise’s signature slapstick comedy with classic monster movie influences, creating what may be one of the most unique entries in the Minions series to date.

- Jeff Bridges

- Jesse Eisenberg
- Zoey Deutch

The film is directed by Pierre Coffin, the longtime creative force behind the Minions franchise.
