The holidays may still be months away, but Disney is already getting fans excited for the most festive festival of the year.
After confirming that holiday announcements were on the way, Disney is continuing to build anticipation with a brand-new teaser focused on EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. While Disney isn’t revealing all of the details just yet, the latest social media post makes it clear that more information about this year’s holiday celebration is right around the corner.
In the teaser shared by Disney Parks, holiday décor begins appearing around EPCOT as festive music plays, ending with a message encouraging fans to stay tuned for more Festival of the Holidays news. While the video doesn’t confirm any new offerings, it strongly suggests that Disney is preparing to unveil this year’s event details as part of its annual Halfway to the Holidays celebration.
The EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays has become one of Walt Disney World’s most popular seasonal events, celebrating holiday traditions from around the world. Guests can typically enjoy Holiday Kitchens, World Showcase Storytellers, the beloved Candlelight Processional, JOYFUL! A Celebration of the Season, Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition, festive merchandise, seasonal entertainment, and the fan-favorite Living with the Land — Glimmering Greenhouses overlay. While Disney has not yet confirmed which experiences will return for 2026, the official Festival of the Holidays page notes that event information will be released this summer.
The timing isn’t surprising. Every June, Disney uses its Halfway to the Holidays campaign to announce dates, entertainment, food offerings, and special experiences for the upcoming holiday season across Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort. This year’s announcements are also expected to include additional details for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Disney Jollywood Nights.
For now, Disney fans will have to wait just a little longer before learning exactly what’s in store for the 2026 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays.
