Need to skip the line? Universal Kids Resort just made it easier than ever.

Universal Kids Resort is now offering Universal Express Now, giving guests the ability to purchase on-demand Express access for individual attractions right from the Universal app.
Unlike a traditional Universal Express Pass, Universal Express Now allows guests to buy a one-time Express entry for a specific attraction and return during a designated one-hour window.
The new feature appears directly within the Universal app alongside current attraction wait times. Guests can select an eligible ride, view the available Express return window, and purchase access instantly.

For example, one listing showed:
- Illumination’s Minions vs. Minions Bello Bay Club – Bello Bay Cruise
- Current standby wait: 40 minutes
- Express return window: 3:15 PM – 4:15 PM
- Price: $29.99 per person (plus tax)
Pricing appears to be dynamic, meaning the cost can vary depending on demand, attraction popularity, and the time of day.
More Flexibility for Families
The introduction of Universal Express Now gives families another option for planning their day without committing to a full Express Pass.

Instead of purchasing skip-the-line access for every attraction, guests can choose to purchase Express access only for the rides that matter most to their group. This option could be especially appealing during busier days or for families traveling with young children.
While availability and pricing will likely fluctuate throughout the day, the new system offers added flexibility for guests looking to maximize their time inside the park.

As Universal Kids Resort continues welcoming its first guests, it’ll be interesting to see whether Universal Express Now expands to additional attractions, or even to other Universal destinations in the future.
