If you’re planning a trip to Epic Universe at the end of June, you’ll want to check your entertainment plans.
Universal Orlando has confirmed that one of Epic Universe’s signature live entertainment offerings will be temporarily unavailable for a short period. While the closure is only expected to last 10 days, guests visiting during that timeframe will want to plan accordingly.
Universal Orlando Resort has confirmed that Le Cirque Arcanus, the spectacular live stage show located inside The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic at Epic Universe, will temporarily close beginning June 21, 2026.
According to the current operating schedule, the attraction will remain closed through June 30, 2026, before reopening on July 1, 2026.
Le Cirque Arcanus is one of Epic Universe’s signature live entertainment experiences and is exclusive to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic.
The theatrical production combines live performers, incredible aerial acrobatics, large-scale practical effects, puppetry, magical illusions, stunning projection technology, all with original storytelling set within the Wizarding World.
The show follows Ringmaster Skender, who has stolen the magical suitcase of Newt Scamander. As magical creatures begin escaping throughout the circus, guests are taken on a fast-paced adventure filled with breathtaking stunts and impressive special effects.
Since Epic Universe opened, Le Cirque Arcanus has quickly become one of the park’s highest-rated entertainment offerings and a must-see experience for many Harry Potter fans.
What Guests Should Know
If you’re visiting Epic Universe between June 21 and June 30, Le Cirque Arcanus will not be operating.
Guests visiting before June 21 or beginning July 1 should still be able to experience the show, barring any additional operational changes.
Universal has not indicated whether the closure is for routine maintenance, technical upgrades, rehearsals, or general operational adjustments.
Because of the short duration, many fans are speculating that the closure is related to standard maintenance or show enhancements, though Universal has not confirmed any details.
Plenty to Experience During the Closure
Even with Le Cirque Arcanus temporarily unavailable, guests visiting Epic Universe will still have access to the park’s incredible lineup of attractions and entertainment, including:
- Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry
- Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge
- Mine-Cart Madness
- Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment
- Stardust Racers
- Dragon Racer’s Rally
- Hiccup’s Wing Gliders
- Curse of the Werewolf
Guests can also continue exploring the immersive worlds throughout Epic Universe, including Celestial Park, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, How to Train Your Dragon — Isle of Berk, Dark Universe, and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic.
Plan Ahead for Your Epic Universe Vacation
While a 10-day closure is relatively brief, it could affect guests who specifically planned to experience one of Epic Universe’s newest live productions.
If Le Cirque Arcanus is high on your must-do list, you may want to adjust your visit dates or plan to return after the show resumes performances on July 1, 2026.
