Another exciting milestone has arrived for Universal Studios Hollywood’s highly anticipated new coaster!

Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift has officially been added to the Universal Studios Hollywood digital park map, signaling that the park’s first-ever high-speed outdoor roller coaster is getting even closer to welcoming guests.
The attraction now appears on Universal’s official app and interactive park map, giving guests their first look at the coaster’s permanent location between Jurassic World — The Ride and Illumination’s Minion Land. While the attraction remains under construction, its addition to the digital map is another major step toward its anticipated 2026 opening.
A New Landmark on the Park Map
The updated map clearly outlines the coaster’s expansive layout, showcasing its twisting track as it winds through the hillside above the park’s Lower Lot before returning near Universal Plaza.

Although guests can’t experience the attraction just yet, adding it to the official map is typically one of the final milestones before an attraction begins preparing for previews and its grand opening.
Universal’s First High-Speed Outdoor Coaster
When it opens, Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift will become Universal Studios Hollywood’s first high-speed outdoor roller coaster. The attraction will feature uniquely rotating ride vehicles designed to simulate drifting as riders race through high-speed launches, banked turns, and thrilling maneuvers inspired by the blockbuster Fast & Furious film franchise.

Construction has continued to make significant progress throughout 2026, with track installation now complete and testing expected to continue in the coming months.
