It’s time to salute America…Sam Eagle style.
One of the most patriotic Muppets is finally getting his own Disney Parks souvenir.
Disney has officially announced a brand-new Sam Eagle Bucket as part of its celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, and Muppets fans are already adding this collectible to their must-have list for the summer.
The new bucket was revealed as part of Disney Parks’ America 250 foodie celebration and will be available at both Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort for a limited time, while supplies last.
If there’s one Disney character synonymous with patriotic pride, it’s Sam Eagle.
Known for his appearances in The Muppet Show, Muppet*Vision 3D, and countless Muppets productions over the years, Sam Eagle has long been Disney’s self-proclaimed symbol of dignity, honor, and American tradition.
Now he’s becoming the star of one of Disney Parks’ newest collectible souvenirs.
Disney confirmed that the Sam Eagle Bucket will arrive at Disneyland Resort beginning June 30, while Walt Disney World Resort will receive the bucket later this summer.
There Will Be Purchase Limits
As expected with many Disney collectible popcorn buckets and specialty containers, Disney has already announced purchase restrictions.
Guests will be limited to two Sam Eagle Buckets per person, two buckets per transaction, and available while supplies last.
Given the popularity of Disney collectible buckets and the ongoing demand for Muppets merchandise, these may become one of the hottest souvenir releases of the summer.
The announcement comes at an interesting time for Muppets fans.
With Muppet*Vision 3D now closed at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and excitement continuing to build around future Muppets projects at Walt Disney World, many fans are eager to add new Muppets merchandise to their collections.
The Sam Eagle Bucket may end up becoming one of the most sought-after Disney Parks collectibles released this year. Disney has released plenty of collectible buckets over the years, but few feel as perfectly timed as the new Sam Eagle Bucket.
