There’s a new Toy Story 5 update, and it’s coming straight from Taylor Swift.
Fans got their first look at the cover artwork for Taylor Swift’s upcoming original song, “I Knew It, I Knew You,” which was written for Disney and Pixar’s highly anticipated Toy Story 5.
The reveal comes just days after Swift officially announced her collaboration with Pixar, confirming that the new song will be featured on the Toy Story 5 soundtrack when the film arrives in theaters on June 19, 2026.
Digital Pre-Orders Now Available
Alongside the album artwork reveal, Swift’s team has opened digital pre-orders for “I Knew It, I Knew You” through her official online store.
The song is scheduled to release on June 5, 2026, ahead of the theatrical debut of Toy Story 5. Disney previously confirmed that the track was written and produced by Swift alongside longtime collaborator Jack Antonoff.
Inspired by Jessie’s Journey
According to Disney, “I Knew It, I Knew You” was inspired by Jessie and her continuing story within the Toy Story franchise. The song also marks a return to Swift’s country roots, blending elements that have defined different eras of her career.
Swift previously shared that she wrote the song after viewing an early screening of the film and immediately connected with the story and characters she has loved since childhood.
