Hey howdy hey! Magic Kingdom just welcomed a VERY special visitor to town.
Joan Cusack, the beloved voice of Jessie from the Toy Story films, recently stopped by Jessie’s Roundup at the Diamond Horseshoe in Magic Kingdom to celebrate one of Walt Disney World’s newest Cool KIDS’ SUMMER offerings. Disney shared a video of the visit on social media, showing Cusack spending time with some familiar Toy Story friends.
In the video shared by Walt Disney World, Cusack can be seen visiting with Jessie, Woody, and Bullseye inside the Diamond Horseshoe, which has been transformed into a Toy Story-themed experience as part of this year’s Cool KIDS’ SUMMER celebration. Disney captioned the post:
“Hey howdy hey! Joan Cusack recently visited Jessie’s Roundup at the Diamond Horseshoe to visit her favorite Toy Story 5 toys.”
The visit comes just as guests are beginning to experience the new offering for themselves.
What Is Jessie’s Roundup?
As part of Walt Disney World’s returning Cool KIDS’ SUMMER event, the Diamond Horseshoe in Liberty Square has been reimagined as Jessie’s Roundup, an interactive Toy Story experience featuring dancing, crafts, music, character interactions, family-friendly activities, and high-energy western-themed fun with Woody, Jessie, and friends.
The experience officially debuted as one of several new entertainment offerings introduced across Walt Disney World for summer 2026.
Perfect Timing for Toy Story 5
Cusack’s visit also arrives as excitement continues to build for Toy Story 5, which is set to arrive in theaters on June 19, 2026. The upcoming film will reunite many familiar voices from the franchise, including Tom Hanks as Woody, Tim Allen as Buzz Lightyear, Joan Cusack as Jessi, and Tony Hale as Forky.
The film will reportedly see the toys facing a new challenge as they go up against modern technology. Conan O’Brien is also joining the cast as a new character named Smarty Pants.
A Special Visit for Toy Story Fans
While Disney didn’t announce the appearance in advance, guests visiting Magic Kingdom during the filming of the social media segment may have gotten an unexpected glimpse of one of Pixar’s most recognizable stars.
Seeing the voice of Jessie hanging out with Jessie, Woody, and Bullseye inside a brand-new Toy Story experience is exactly the kind of Disney magic we love to see.
Jessie’s Roundup is currently available daily inside the Diamond Horseshoe as part of Cool KIDS’ SUMMER at Walt Disney World.
