If you missed one of Pixar’s biggest surprises of the year in theaters, your wait is almost over.

Disney has officially announced that Disney and Pixar’s Hoppers will begin streaming on Disney+ starting June 3, 2026. The animated adventure debuted in theaters earlier this year and will soon be available for subscribers to enjoy from home.
Hoppers follows Mabel, an animal-loving college student who takes advantage of groundbreaking technology that allows humans to “hop” their consciousness into lifelike robotic animals. After transferring her mind into a robotic beaver, Mabel discovers an entirely new world of animal communication and adventure while trying to protect a local habitat from human development.

The film features the voices of:
- Piper Curda as Mabel
- Bobby Moynihan as King George
- Jon Hamm as Mayor Jerry Generazzo
- Kathy Najimy
- Dave Franco
- Meryl Streep
A Strong Year for Pixar
Since its theatrical debut in March, Hoppers has earned strong reviews from both critics and audiences, with many praising the film’s humor, heart, and original premise. The movie has become one of Pixar’s standout releases ahead of the studio’s next major film, Toy Story 5, arriving later this month.

And honestly? A movie about a girl becoming a robotic beaver sounds exactly like the kind of weird Pixar concept that somehow ends up making us cry.
Streaming Begins June 3
Disney+ subscribers will be able to start streaming Hoppers on June 3, 2026, adding another recent theatrical release to the platform’s growing Pixar collection.

Whether you missed it in theaters or just want to revisit Mabel’s wild adventure, you won’t have to wait much longer.
