One of Walt Disney World’s most prestigious dining experiences just added another major accomplishment to its résumé.

Victoria & Albert’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa has officially retained its Michelin Star for 2026, continuing its status as the first and only restaurant owned and operated by a U.S. theme park destination to earn the prestigious distinction.
The recognition marks another major milestone for Disney’s flagship fine dining restaurant, which first earned a Michelin Star in 2024 and has successfully maintained the honor ever since.

And honestly? That’s not something many people expected to be saying about a restaurant at Disney World a few years ago.
A Historic Achievement for Walt Disney World
Victoria & Albert’s made history when it became the first Disney-owned restaurant and the first restaurant operated by a U.S. theme park destination to receive a Michelin Star. The restaurant continues to hold that distinction today.

Located inside Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Victoria & Albert’s has long been considered the culinary crown jewel of Walt Disney World, offering an upscale tasting-menu experience focused on seasonal ingredients, world-class service, and meticulously crafted presentations.
The restaurant has also built an impressive collection of accolades over the years, including:
- AAA Five Diamond Award every year since 2000
- Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Award since 2018
- Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence
- Michelin Star status since 2024
The Team Behind the Success
Disney has frequently credited the restaurant’s cast members and culinary team for maintaining the exceptionally high standards required to earn Michelin recognition. Chef de Cuisine Matthew Sowers and the Victoria & Albert’s team continue to focus on premium ingredients, seasonal menus, and personalized service experiences that have become hallmarks of the restaurant.

According to Michelin inspectors, the restaurant stands out for both its refined cuisine and the overall guest experience, with the guide specifically praising the restaurant’s attention to detail, service standards, and carefully orchestrated pacing.
Honestly, earning a Michelin Star is impressive. Keeping it year after year might be even harder.
One of the Hardest Reservations at Disney World
Victoria & Albert’s has become one of the most sought-after dining reservations anywhere on Disney property. The restaurant welcomes guests ages 10 and older and offers an intimate tasting-menu experience that can span several hours.

The menu changes seasonally and features ingredients sourced from around the world, with optional wine pairings available from an award-winning wine collection.
Because of its popularity and limited seating, reservations often disappear quickly whenever booking windows open.
Disney Dining Continues to Evolve
While Disney is often known for iconic snacks, character dining, and immersive themed restaurants, Victoria & Albert’s continues proving that Walt Disney World can also compete on the highest levels of fine dining.
The restaurant’s continued Michelin recognition serves as another reminder that some of Disney’s most impressive experiences aren’t always found inside the theme parks themselves.

Retaining a Michelin Star for another year is a pretty strong indication that Victoria & Albert’s remains one of the premier dining destinations in all of Central Florida.
