Star Wars fans are about to get the chance to see The Mandalorian and Grogu before almost anyone else.
Disney has officially announced exclusive advance screenings of the upcoming Lucasfilm movie for D23 Gold Members, with special showings planned at both AMC Disney Springs 24 in Florida and AMC Americana at Brand 18 in Glendale, California.
According to D23, both advance screenings will take place on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, just two days before the film officially debuts in theaters on May 22.
The screening locations and times are:
- Glendale, California — AMC Americana at Brand 18 at 6:30 PM local time
- Orlando, Florida — AMC Disney Springs 24 at 7:00 PM local time
Tickets for the D23 Gold Member screenings went on sale on Friday, May 8, 2026, at 10:00 AM PT/1:00 PM ET Tickets are priced at $15 per ticket, plus a $3 processing fee. Each event ticket includes one advance screening admission, one complimentary regular popcorn voucher, and one complimentary fountain drink voucher.
According to the event details, D23 Gold Members may reserve tickets for themselves and up to one guest.
However, Disney notes that tickets are limited on a first-come, first-served basis, non-transferable, and guests may be required to present government-issued photo ID matching the ticket name.
All attendees must also present a valid D23 Gold Membership card (either physical or digital through the D23 app) at check-in. Disney also notes that guests under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian with a valid ticket.
The Mandalorian and Grogu marks the first theatrical Star Wars film released since The Rise of Skywalker in 2019.
The film follows Din Djarin and Grogu after the fall of the Empire as the New Republic works to restore order across the galaxy.
Disney and Lucasfilm have confirmed that The Mandalorian and Grogu officially opens exclusively in theaters on May 22, 2026, and carries a PG-13 rating.
The film has already become one of Disney’s biggest upcoming theatrical releases, especially with Grogu remaining one of the company’s most recognizable Star Wars characters.
Between exclusive early access, Disney Springs screenings, popcorn vouchers, and one of the most anticipated Star Wars movies in years, this is probably going to become one of the hottest D23 ticket releases of the month.
