After disappearing for months, one of Toy Story Land’s most recognizable landmarks has officially returned to Disney’s Hollywood Studios — just not where guests remember it!

Toy Story Land sign

The colorful Toy Story Land entrance sign has now been reinstalled at Disney’s Hollywood Studios following its removal in July 2025 to make way for the construction of the land’s new popcorn and snacks kiosk.

While the snack stand officially opened in early January 2026, the iconic entrance sign remained missing for several months afterward, leaving many guests wondering if it would ever return. The stand itself was later added to park maps and the My Disney Experience app in February 2026.

Now, Disney has officially brought the sign back, but in a brand-new location.

Instead of returning to its original placement near the entrance from Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, the oversized toy-inspired sign has been relocated across the walkway closer to the entrance of Alien Swirling Saucers inside Toy Story Land.

It has returned

The sign still features the same colorful design themed to oversized wooden toys, alphabet blocks, and yo-yos that help establish the feeling of guests shrinking down to toy size in Andy’s backyard.

The newly added popcorn and snack kiosk now permanently occupies the sign’s former location. The stand serves popcorn, beverages, alcoholic drinks, and the now-popular Pizza Planet Spring Rolls, which are similar to the Pepperoni Pizza Spring Rolls sold in Magic Kingdom.

For longtime Disney’s Hollywood Studios visitors, the missing sign noticeably changed the transition into Toy Story Land over the past several months. Many guests entering from Galaxy’s Edge were greeted only by the land’s oversized theming elements and attraction entrances without the familiar visual marker welcoming them into Andy’s backyard.

It found another spot

Toy Story Land remains one of the busiest and most popular areas inside Disney’s Hollywood Studios thanks to attractions like Slinky Dog Dash, Toy Story Mania!, and Alien Swirling Saucers. The land originally opened on June 30, 2018.

While the sign’s return restores a familiar piece of Toy Story Land’s atmosphere, the new placement permanently changes the look and guest flow of one of the most heavily trafficked walkways in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

We’ll continue following the latest Disney’s Hollywood Studios updates, Toy Story Land changes, Walt Disney World construction news, and Disney Parks developments, so be sure to check back soon for even more updates.
