Another Walt Disney World dining price increase is on the way, and this time, it’s impacting kids’ meals at one of Disney’s most popular signature restaurants.
Disney has confirmed that the prix fixe children’s menu pricing at California Grill inside Disney’s Contemporary Resort will increase beginning in June 2026. The change follows a previous price adjustment made to the adult dining experience late last year.
If you’ve been planning a special meal at California Grill this summer, especially for a family vacation, here’s what you need to know before your next reservation.
California Grill Kids Menu Price Increasing in June 2026
Beginning in June 2026, the prix fixe menu for children ages 3 to 9 at California Grill will increase from $39 to $45, plus tax and gratuity.
The updated pricing appears on Walt Disney World’s dining information for dates beginning in June. California Grill currently operates with a prix fixe dinner menu format, meaning guests select one appetizer, one entrée, and one dessert. Children’s meals also include two side selections and a beverage option.
Adult Pricing Already Increased Previously
This latest increase follows a separate pricing adjustment Disney introduced in late 2025.
Back in November 2025, California Grill raised its adult prix fixe dinner price from $89 to $99 per adult, while the children’s menu price initially remained unchanged at $39.
At the same time, the optional Deluxe Wine Pairing increased from $72 to $78. Now, Disney is officially increasing the children’s pricing as well.
What’s Included on the Kids Menu?
California Grill’s children’s prix fixe menu includes a choice of appetizer, entrée, sides, dessert, and beverage.
Current offerings include options such as:
- Chicken noodle soup
- Romaine salad
- Grilled chicken
- Pasta
- Steak options
- Fresh fruit
- Ice cream desserts
Disney also offers allergy-friendly menu accommodations at the restaurant.
Located on the top floor of Disney’s Contemporary Resort, California Grill remains one of the most well-known signature dining experiences at Walt Disney World.
The restaurant is especially popular for panoramic Magic Kingdom views, fireworks viewing opportunities, sushi and seafood offerings, seasonal market-inspired cuisine, and signature dining atmosphere.
Guests dining at California Grill are also able to return later in the evening to view Happily Ever After from the restaurant’s observation deck using their same-day dining receipt.
California Grill is far from the only Walt Disney World restaurant to see pricing increases over the past several years, but signature dining locations in particular have continued trending upward in cost.
With the newest increase, a family dining experience at California Grill can now climb significantly higher once tax, gratuity, beverages, and optional wine pairings are included.
Even so, the restaurant continues to remain one of the hardest-to-get dining reservations at Walt Disney World during busy travel seasons.
