Disney On Ice is about to get even more magical, because several fan-favorite characters are officially making their skating debut.
Disney On Ice has announced brand-new additions coming to its upcoming “Spotlight Magic!” production, and the lineup includes some major firsts for Disney fans. From Lilo & Stitch favorites to new Zootopia characters, this year’s show is bringing fresh faces to the ice alongside classic Disney storytelling.
One of the biggest highlights announced for Disney On Ice: Spotlight Magic! is the debut of Angel from Lilo & Stitch.
According to Disney On Ice, Angel will make a “shimmering debut” during the show after being introduced by Stitch himself. The performance will feature Angel soaring above the arena on a sparkling chandelier before reuniting with Stitch during a heartwarming on-ice moment.
This marks the first time the fan-favorite character has appeared in a Disney On Ice production.
The new production will also introduce characters connected to Zootopia 2, including Gazelle and Gary De’Snake. Both characters will officially make their Disney On Ice debuts as part of the updated production. The additions come as Disney continues building excitement for Zootopia 2, which is scheduled to release later this year.
In addition to the new character debuts, Spotlight Magic! will also feature a special Disney Villains showcase.
Villains included in the production are the Evil Queen, Gaston, Maleficent, and Ursula. Disney says the show will blend classic Disney music, storytelling, and live skating performances into a red carpet-inspired experience for guests.
Hosted by Mickey, Minnie, and their pals, the show will feature more than 30 Disney characters overall. Disney also shared that guests can enjoy red carpet-themed photo opportunities before the show and during intermission.
Disney On Ice: Spotlight Magic! is set to begin performances in September 2026, with tickets already on sale for select dates and locations.
With new character debuts, Disney Villains, and a mix of nostalgic Disney music and storytelling, Spotlight Magic! is shaping up to be one of the biggest Disney On Ice productions yet.
