If you’re planning to grab one of Disney’s newest Star Wars popcorn buckets, you’ll need your phone ready.

Disney

Disney is changing things up for May the 4th 2026, and this year’s biggest collectibles won’t be as simple as walking up to a cart.

For the highly anticipated Jabba’s Sail Barge popcorn bucket, Disney is implementing a mobile order-only system, at least for the initial release window.

Disney

On May 4 and May 5, 2026, guests at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will only be able to purchase this bucket via mobile order through the My Disney Experience.

To find it, guests will need to search the mobile order dining for “Disney’s Hollywood Studios Souvenir Release Store” inside the app.

Once ordered, the app will direct you to a designated pickup location.

Even though ordering is digital, pickup still happens in-park at select locations, including:

  • Hollywood Hills Amphitheater Refreshments (near Fantasmic!)
  • Ice Cold Hydraulics on Grand Avenue
  • Popcorn cart near Center Stage

This system is designed to help manage crowds — especially for what’s expected to be one of the most in-demand collectibles of the year.

Disney

Like most Disney popcorn bucket drops, there are strict limits in place.

Guests should expect a limit of two buckets per person, per transaction, availability while supplies last, and a high demand, especially on May the 4th itself.

And here’s an important detail: starting May 6, 2026, the Jabba’s Sail Barge bucket will move to regular purchase locations like Kat Saka’s Kettle in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

Disney

Disney is also rolling out a full lineup of Star Wars novelties for May the 4th, including the Salvaged Protocol Droid popcorn bucket with light-up eyes, the Bantha sipper, complete with detailed design and sound effects, and lightsaber swizzle sticks and other themed drink accessories.

Disney

Between limited quantities, mobile ordering, and one of the most detailed Star Wars buckets Disney has ever released, this is shaping up to be one of the most competitive May the 4th drops yet.

Because when it comes to Star Wars popcorn buckets…they don’t stick around for long!
