EPCOT just quietly added a limited-time perk, and if you’re a Disney World Annual Passholder, this is the kind of exclusive access you don’t want to miss.
There’s something special about being a Disney Annual Passholder, and this summer, EPCOT is leaning into that magic in a big way. A new, limited-time experience is giving Passholders access to something not every guest will get, and while some of the details remain a mystery, that’s part of what’s making this even more exciting.
Walt Disney World has revealed a new perk just for Annual Passholders, and it’s arriving as part of the highly anticipated V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days celebration. This limited-time offering will give Passholders the opportunity to meet some of Disney’s most beloved characters during an exclusive meet-and-greet experience at EPCOT.
Designed as an added bonus for Passholders visiting the park this summer, the experience promises a chance to interact with familiar Disney favorites — complete with hugs, photos, and autographs.
The meet-and-greet will take place inside the Magic Eye Theatre, a recognizable EPCOT location that previously hosted Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse during the Disney100 celebration.
Located in World Celebration and home to the Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival, this space is being transformed once again into a character interaction spot — giving Passholders a dedicated place to meet and connect with Disney characters in a more exclusive setting.
This Passholder-exclusive experience will run from May 1 through July 31, 2026, making it a summer-long offering for those planning a visit to EPCOT.
Guests can stop by daily between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM, though availability will depend on demand and capacity.
While Disney has not confirmed exactly which characters will appear, the experience is expected to feature “some of Mickey Mouse’s best pals,” leaving room for a rotating lineup or surprise appearances.
To take part in the meet-and-greet, guests must be valid Walt Disney World Annual Passholders and meet standard park entry requirements. This includes having a valid admission and, when required, a theme park reservation for EPCOT on the same day.
Passholders may also enter without a reservation on select “good-to-go” days or after 2:00 PM, depending on availability and blockout dates.
Participation in the meet-and-greet is not guaranteed, as entry will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis. Additionally, all offerings (including dates, times, and character appearances) are subject to change, closure, or cancellation without notice.
Guests should also be prepared to present their valid Annual Pass credentials, whether that’s a physical pass, MagicBand, MagicBand+, or Disney MagicMobile pass, along with a government-issued photo ID to participate.
This meet-and-greet is just one piece of the larger V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days event, which is bringing a variety of exclusive perks, discounts, and experiences to Walt Disney World this season.
