The Force is officially returning to Fortnite, and this time, it’s straight out of The Clone Wars.
Epic Games is bringing two of the most iconic Jedi to the Item Shop in a brand-new animated style bundle, and Star Wars fans are already gearing up for one of the most nostalgic drops of the year.
Starting May 1 at 8 PM ET, players will be able to grab a new bundle featuring:
- Animated Ahsoka Tano outfit
- Animated Anakin Skywalker outfit
- Themed back blings
- Matching pickaxes
- Cosmetic shoes inspired by Star Wars: The Clone Wars
This new drop leans heavily into the beloved animated series aesthetic, giving both characters a stylized look that feels straight out of the early days of their Jedi journeys.
The full bundle isn’t just character skins — it’s a full cosmetic set designed for both Battle Royale and Creative gameplay.
Players can expect full outfits for Ahsoka and Anakin, themed back bling accessories, matching harvesting tools (pickaxes), and additional cosmetic items tied to their Clone Wars designs.
Everything is built to match the animated Star Wars universe style, making this one of the most cohesive crossover bundles Fortnite has released in recent memory.
This Star Wars release is launching alongside Fortnite’s v40.30 update, which also brings improvements to UEFN (Unreal Editor for Fortnite).
That includes new tools and features such as expanded voice line support, enhanced creative map customization, and additional gameplay and scripting options for creators.
Together, the update and the skins are helping build momentum heading into Star Wars Day (May 4th) celebrations across gaming and entertainment.
The reaction from the Fortnite community has been strong, especially from longtime Star Wars fans. Many players are excited about the nostalgic Clone Wars-inspired art style, the return of major Jedi characters, and the timing ahead of May the 4th celebrations.
However, some fans have also pointed out that alternate versions of these characters have appeared in Fortnite before, meaning this isn’t their first in-game appearance.
Even so, the animated style and full bundle presentation are driving plenty of hype heading into release.
This crossover is landing at exactly the right time. With Star Wars Day just around the corner, Fortnite is once again positioning itself as a key destination for crossover events — especially when it comes to Lucasfilm content.
