That mysterious Disney tease just landed, and Star Wars fans were right to be excited.

When Disney posted a cryptic hint about “big news” coming for one of its newest attraction updates, fans immediately started speculating what could be next for Galaxy’s Edge. Now we know exactly what it was leading up to, and it’s a major visual reveal tied to one of the most anticipated ride updates in the parks.

Disney has officially unveiled the first look at the updated attraction poster for Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, and it features none other than The Mandalorian and Grogu front and center.

The artwork showcases the duo alongside the Millennium Falcon as they soar through an action-packed space battle, setting the tone for the ride’s upcoming overhaul.

It’s a clear shift in tone for the attraction, which has centered on Hondo Ohnaka’s smuggling mission since opening day. Now, it’s stepping directly into the timeline of The Mandalorian era — and it looks a lot more cinematic in the process.

This isn’t just a cosmetic update.

When the new mission launches on May 22, 2026, guests will join Din Djarin and Grogu on a brand-new storyline that expands beyond the original coaxium run.

Even more exciting, the ride will introduce new destinations for the first time, including iconic Star Wars locations like Bespin, Coruscant, and the wreckage near Endor

Guests will also have more influence over the mission itself, with expanded interactive elements that change how each flight unfolds.

This update connects the ride directly to the upcoming film The Mandalorian and Grogu, bringing the story into a larger cross-media moment that spans both the parks and theaters.

What started as a simple tease turned into one of the clearest looks yet at Disney’s next big Star Wars update. And if this poster is any indication, the new mission is going to feel bigger, faster, and far more story-driven than ever before.

Galaxy’s Edge is clearly gearing up for a major shift, and this is just the beginning. Keep checking back for more breakdowns, ride updates, and everything coming next from a galaxy far, far away.
