Disneyland Paris is transforming its second gate, Walt Disney Studios Park, into Disney Adventure World, a newly reimagined park featuring immersive lands inspired by Marvel, Pixar, and Frozen.
The next major milestone arrives March 29 with the opening of World of Frozen, a fully themed land bringing guests into the kingdom of Arendelle.
A major transformation is underway at Disneyland Paris, as the resort prepares to unveil the newly reimagined Disney Adventure World on March 29, 2026. The park—previously known as Walt Disney Studios Park—is entering a new era with expanded lands, a fresh creative vision, and the debut of one of Disney’s most anticipated international themed lands: World of Frozen.
The rebrand marks the centerpiece of a multi-year expansion project designed to dramatically expand and redefine the park. When the transformation is complete, the park will have nearly doubled in size and feature several immersive lands inspired by Disney, Pixar, and Marvel stories.
A New Identity for the Park
Beginning March 29, the park officially becomes Disney Adventure World, reflecting a shift away from its original movie-studio theme and toward fully immersive storytelling lands.
The redesigned park will feature several themed areas connected by new pathways and gathering spaces, including:
- World Premiere and World Premiere Plaza, a redesigned entrance district
- Adventure Way, a scenic promenade featuring themed gardens, dining, and family attractions
- Adventure Bay, a large central lake that will host entertainment and nighttime spectaculars
- Worlds of Pixar, featuring attractions inspired by Pixar films
- Marvel Avengers Campus, where guests can team up with Marvel superheroes
- World of Frozen, the newest immersive land opening this spring
Additional expansions are already planned, including a Lion King–themed land with a major new attraction in development.
World of Frozen Opens March 29
The biggest addition arriving with the park’s transformation is World of Frozen, a fully themed land inspired by the hit animated films.
Guests entering the land will step directly into the kingdom of Arendelle, complete with Nordic architecture, a towering mountain backdrop, and scenic waterfront views along Arendelle Bay.
At the heart of the land will be Frozen Ever After, a family-friendly boat ride that takes guests on a musical journey through iconic scenes from the films featuring Elsa, Anna, Olaf, and other beloved characters.
The land will also include:
- Character encounters with Anna and Elsa inside Arendelle Castle
- A live entertainment show staged on the waters of Arendelle Bay
- A themed restaurant inspired by Nordic taverns
- Shops offering exclusive Frozen merchandise
New technology will also bring characters to life throughout the land, including a free-roaming Olaf animatronic designed to interact with guests.
A New Chapter for Disneyland Paris
World of Frozen represents one of the most ambitious additions ever built at Disneyland Paris, and its debut signals the start of a broader transformation for the resort’s second park.
With immersive lands themed to Marvel, Pixar, and Frozen—and more expansions already planned—Disney Adventure World aims to redefine the park as a destination where guests can step directly into the worlds of their favorite Disney stories.
And when World of Frozen officially opens on March 29, we’ll finally be able to journey to Arendelle and experience the magic of the beloved franchise in an entirely new way.
