Reality TV fans, put down your daggers (the tiny plastic kind, please) because Universal Orlando just announced a surprise for Traitors lovers.

Select cast members from NBC’s The Traitors: New Blood are making a special appearance at the Traitors-themed bar inside Universal’s Great Movie Escape at Universal CityWalk tomorrow evening, Thursday, October 15.
The appearance runs from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM, and it’s open to the public. During that window, the cast members will be available for meet-and-greets, photo opportunities, and autographs. Universal hasn’t said which cast members are coming, and they haven’t shared how the meet-and-greet will be organized, like whether there’s a line system, a cap on how many people can meet the cast, or any limits on autographs. So I’d plan to arrive early and bring your patience, and I’d double-check Universal’s official channels for any day-of updates.
Now, a little about the bar itself, because if you haven’t been, this is a fun one. The Traitors: New Blood Bar lives inside Universal’s Great Movie Escape at CityWalk and is open to the public Wednesday through Sunday from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM. It has two distinct bar experiences inspired by the show. The Library is on the first floor, and The Roundtable is on the second floor. Both serve specialty beverages themed to the show.

If you love the set details, you’re in for a treat. Guests can see set elements and props throughout the venue, including costumes worn by host Alan Cumming. From what I’ve seen in coverage from earlier this fall, the bar has a moody, dark green and gold look that really leans into the castle vibe of the show. That part is from earlier coverage and not part of today’s announcement, so take it as a general idea rather than a promise.
And here’s a detail that matters if you’re trying to keep costs under control. Admission isn’t required to access the Traitors bar. You only need separate admission if you want to do the escape room experiences at Universal’s Great Movie Escape. So you can show up, grab a drink, and check out the props without buying a ticket to anything. And since you wouldn’t need a theme park ticket for CityWalk, this is a pretty low-lift way to do something special if you’re local or already in the area.

New episodes of The Traitors: New Blood air on Thursdays at 8/7c on NBC and stream the next day on Peacock. That means tomorrow’s meet and greet wraps up a couple of hours before the new episode, which is honestly perfect. You could meet the cast, grab a photo, and be back on the couch in time to yell at your TV about who the traitors are. Or, if you want to see the episode live at the bar, I haven’t seen anything saying there’s a watch party, so I wouldn’t count on it.
I love when a theme park or entertainment destination leans into a show people are already obsessed with, and The Traitors is exactly the kind of show where fans have a lot of opinions and zero chill. A free, no-ticket-required cast meet-and-greet is a nice way to bring that community together, and CityWalk is such an easy place to pop into. Short notice is the only catch. An announcement the day before means plenty of fans will have no time to rearrange a work schedule, and a 90-minute window can go fast if the crowds show up.
Would I go? Absolutely, if I could swing it. I’d get there early, grab a seat at The Roundtable, and try to stay calm while pretending I’m not analyzing everyone’s body language. (I would be analyzing everyone’s body language.)
Are you heading to CityWalk tomorrow, and who are you hoping to see? Tell me in the comments, and keep checking back with Theme Park Scope, because I’ll be sharing the latest Universal Orlando news and updates as soon as they happen.
