Passholders, we have something worth knowing about. Nomad Lounge at Disney’s Animal Kingdom has launched an exclusive deal for Walt Disney World Annual Passholders this fall, and it comes with a few rules that are easy to miss if you don’t read the fine print.

So let’s read the fine print together, because somebody should.

The deal, in plain terms, is two small plates and two beverages for $49. It’s available from October 20 through December 18, 2026, daily from 3 PM until close. That price does not include tax and gratuity, so those are added on top, which is worth keeping in mind when you’re budgeting for your evening. This is also a select-items offer, meaning you choose from a designated list and not the full menu.

Examples of what’s on that list include the Spice Trader Classic on the alcoholic side and the Zingiber Fizzie on the non-alcoholic side. For small plates, the examples include Chinese Five-Spiced Glazed Chicken Wings and Traveller’s Provisions. I haven’t seen the complete list, so I’d treat those as a sample and not the whole menu. Check the lounge itself or Disney’s official dining page for the full lineup.

Redeeming the deal is straightforward but requires a little prep. You’ll need to show a valid Annual Pass from the “My Tickets & Passes” section of the My Disney Experience app when you buy, along with a valid photo ID. So before you head over, make sure your pass is loaded in the app, and your ID is in your pocket. Nothing derails a snack plan faster than a dead phone and a forgotten wallet. The offer is described as being for a limited time, and I didn’t see any other restrictions listed, such as a cap per person or per party, so it’s worth asking a Cast Member if you’re planning on bringing a group.

Now for the other big news, because it ties right in. Nomad Lounge will begin taking reservations for the first time in 10 years. Bookings open October 28 for dates starting November 8, and for the deal specifically, reservations are recommended but not required, starting November 8. Walk-up seating and a waitlist are still available, though it’s expected that walk-up availability may be tighter once reservations are an option. If you’re a planner by nature, that’s your cue.

For anyone who hasn’t been, a little background. Nomad Lounge is on Discovery Island, right next to Tiffins Restaurant. Disney describes it as a spot inspired by wanderlust, and the menu fits that, with small plates built on global flavors and aromatic spices, plus a large selection of beer, wine, and mixed drinks. There are also non-alcoholic cocktails, freshly ground coffee, and loose-leaf teas on the drink list.

That brings me to the family angle, because this is a family blog and I’d be remiss. With non-alcoholic cocktails, coffee, and tea on the drink list, there are options for guests who aren’t drinking alcohol. I haven’t seen anything specific about how the passholder deal works for guests of different ages, though, so I’d confirm with a Cast Member or Disney’s official dining information before you plan an outing with kids. Two small plates for two people is also a nice, low-pressure way to grab a break in the middle of a long day at the park, especially if you’ve been chasing a very energetic tiny human around Kilimanjaro Safaris.

If you’re planning a fall trip around deals like this one, we love our travel partners at Adventure Awaits Travel Company. Their trip planning is completely free; they can save you hours of research, and they’re great at helping you find the best value for your stay, which is exactly what you want when you’re stacking passholder perks with a vacation.

I think this is a good, fair deal, and I’ll tell you why. Two small plates and two beverages for $49 before tax and gratuity isn’t a steal on its own, but the value is in the combination. You get a sit-down break with a thoughtful menu at a spot most guests walk right past, and you don’t have to guess how much you’re going to spend. For a passholder who’s already in the park, that’s appealing.

I also love the reservation news. Ten years without reservations means a lot of people have wandered up, seen a wait, and walked away. Bringing them back in is smart, and it makes the deal easier to plan around. My advice: if you have a date in mind, book it when reservations open on October 28. If you’re feeling spontaneous, expect a wait and don’t take it personally. It’s Animal Kingdom, and there’s always something to look at.

Are you a passholder planning to try it? What would you order from the select list? Tell me in the comments. And keep checking back at Theme Park Scope, because I’ll share more details as soon as Disney releases the full menu and any updates to the offer.
