Some merchandise posts are about fun.

Disney

This one is about something a little more meaningful, so I am going to keep my usual jokes in my pocket and just tell you what is coming.

Walt Disney World has revealed its 2026 Veterans Day merchandise collection, and according to the resort’s official merchandise page, it is coming to World of Disney at Disney Springs, Discovery Trading Company at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and select locations around the resort. Veterans Day is November 11, and Disney has two pieces to mark the occasion so far.

The first is a baseball-style jersey that Disney calls Honoring Our Vets. It features patches designed to celebrate Veterans Day, and Disney’s description pitches it as a sporty piece to wear to the parks.

The second is a blue T-shirt Disney calls A Fashion Salute. It has bold USA lettering with an Air, Land, Sea banner running across it, a Mickey Mouse head badge on the left side, and the words Veterans Day and Honoring Those Who Served beneath it. Disney describes it as just the right vibe for visiting the American Adventure pavilion at EPCOT, which is a nice, specific touch, since that pavilion is where a lot of Walt Disney World’s patriotic moments happen.

As of right now, Disney has not shared prices or exact release dates for either piece, only that they are coming. I will update this post when that information is available.

It helps to know that this is part of a tradition. Disney has been releasing a military-inspired merchandise line for several years. The 2023 collection started the series. In 2024, the collection had four items: a T-shirt, a Spirit Jersey, a water bottle, and a baseball cap. In 2025, the collection grew to five items, including a T-shirt, a zip-up hoodie, a hat, a mug, and, for the first time, a Disney pin. This year, only two pieces have been shown so far, so it may be that more are on the way, or it may be a smaller collection than last year. I would not read too much into it either way until Disney shares more.

If Veterans Day is a day you want to mark during a Disney trip, there are several other things happening around Walt Disney World that Disney highlights on its official Veterans Day page.

At Magic Kingdom there is a tradition that has taken place every day since the park opened on October 1, 1971. The American flag is lowered while the Star-Spangled Banner plays, in a tribute to service members and veterans. It is a quiet, moving moment, and it ties neatly into the 55th anniversary we have been celebrating this month.

At EPCOT’s American Adventure pavilion, the exhibit Portraits of Courage is on display. It is a collection of more than 60 oil portraits of service members and veterans who have served since 9/11, painted by former President George W. Bush, and Disney recently extended it for guests to visit through 2026.

On Veterans Day itself, November 11, the American Adventure pavilion will also host a shopping event with R. Riveter, a handbag company built on a mission to create meaningful employment opportunities for the military community. The event runs from 9 AM to 9 PM, according to Disney’s shopping events calendar.

There is also Shades of Green, the resort for military families on Disney property. Its name reflects the different shades of green in the uniforms worn by the various military branches, and its location between two of Disney’s green PGA golf courses.

Disney also offers special savings for military families in 2026, including specially priced theme park tickets for active and retired military personnel through participating military bases, discounted rates on select Disney Resort hotel rooms, and the Disney Celebrates America Military Salute Ticket tied to the country’s 250th anniversary. Eligibility and details change, so check Disney’s official Veterans Day page before you book anything. If you want help figuring out which military offer fits your trip and your dates, a travel agent through Adventure Awaits Travel Company can walk you through your options at no cost to you.

If you are planning to pick up the jersey or the T-shirt, my tip is the same as it is for any limited-time collection: check World of Disney or Discovery Trading Company soon after the pieces appear, since collections like this tend to be available only while supplies last.

To every veteran and military family reading this, thank you.

We will share prices and release dates as soon as Disney announces them, so check back with Theme Park Scope for updates.
