Disney World Annual Passholders just got a little more flexibility for their park plans this week!

Walt Disney World has added two more Good-to-Go Days for September 2026, allowing Annual Passholders to enter any of the four theme parks without first making a theme park reservation.

The newly added dates are Tuesday, September 8, 2026 and Thursday, September 10, 2026. Both dates apply across all four Walt Disney World Annual Pass tiers, although the usual blockout dates and capacity restrictions associated with each pass still apply. And if you already made a park reservation for one of those dates, there’s another small benefit you should know about.

September 8 and 10 aren’t the first Good-to-Go Days Disney has released this month. September 2 and September 3 were previously designated Good-to-Go Days, bringing the September total so far to four.

Good-to-Go Days were introduced in 2024 as a way to give Walt Disney World Annual Passholders select dates when they can visit the theme parks without dealing with the normal reservation requirement. Disney doesn’t release an entire year’s worth of Good-to-Go Days in advance.

Instead, the dates are added periodically (sometimes only days or weeks ahead of time) based on Disney’s availability and attendance expectations. That means September 8 and 10 may not necessarily be the final Good-to-Go Days we see this month.

What Does a Good-to-Go Day Actually Mean?

On a designated Good-to-Go Day, Annual Passholders can enter Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, or Disney’s Animal Kingdom without making a theme park reservation first.

Under Disney’s standard Annual Passholder rules, Passholders can generally visit the parks after 2 PM without a theme park reservation, subject to applicable blockout dates. The major exception is Magic Kingdom on Saturdays and Sundays, where a reservation is still required regardless of arrival time unless Disney has designated the date as Good-to-Go. A Good-to-Go Day removes that reservation requirement for the entire day.

You still need valid Annual Pass admission, and blockout dates associated with your particular pass continue to apply. Disney also notes that theme park entry remains subject to capacity limitations.

There’s another benefit that can be easy to overlook.If you already made a theme park reservation for September 8 or September 10 before Disney converted the date into a Good-to-Go Day, you don’t need to cancel it yourself. Disney removes that reservation from your maximum reservation allotment.

You’ll still see the plans displayed in the My Disney Experience app, but the reservation will no longer count toward the maximum number of park reservations you can hold at one time.

That’s particularly useful for Passholders with upcoming trips who may already be holding several park reservations. Instead of using one of those slots on a date that no longer requires a reservation, it becomes available for another day.

Because Disney adds these dates on a rolling basis, it’s worth checking the Annual Passholder calendar periodically rather than assuming the currently announced September dates are the only ones we’ll get.

Good-to-Go Days automatically appear in the Annual Passholder admission calendar, theme park reservation calendar, and My Disney Experience app. Disney identifies them directly on the calendar so Passholders know that a park reservation isn’t necessary. And September is a particularly interesting month for spontaneous Disney World visits.

The EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is underway, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is taking place on select nights at Magic Kingdom, and The Magic of Disney Animation officially opens at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on September 14.
