Theme Park Scope

Florida residents looking for an excuse to visit Epic Universe just got a pretty compelling one.

Universal Orlando Resort has launched a new Special 3-Day Florida Resident Ticket that includes Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure, AND Universal Epic Universe for just $255 plus tax.

That works out to only $85 per day for three days at Universal Orlando’s three theme parks, and unlike some of the earlier ticket structures surrounding Epic Universe, this offer gives Florida residents a straightforward way to dedicate an entire day to each park.

The limited-time ticket is available now and can be used for visits through December 23, 2026, although blockout dates and other restrictions apply. The base version of the new Florida Resident offer costs $255 plus tax.

That ticket provides three separate park days: one day at each of Universal Orlando’s theme parks — Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, and Epic Universe. Each park is visited on a different day, and admission to the same park more than once is not included with this ticket.

This isn’t three days during which you can simply choose whichever Universal park you feel like visiting. The promotion is specifically structured to give you one visit to each of Universal Orlando’s three theme parks.

The good news for Florida locals is that the three visits do not need to be consecutive. You could potentially visit Epic Universe one weekend and return for Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure on later dates, provided all three visits are completed within the promotional period and your selected dates aren’t blocked out. The ticket must be used by December 23, 2026.

It’s also an online-only promotion and isn’t available for purchase at the front gate.

Universal is also offering a Florida Resident Park-to-Park version of the promotion. That ticket costs $285 plus tax, or $95 per day.

Instead of keeping Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure completely separate, it provides two days of Park-to-Park access between those two parks, plus a separate day at Epic Universe.

That extra $30 could be important if riding the Hogwarts Express is on your itinerary, since the attraction transports guests between Diagon Alley at Universal Studios Florida and Hogsmeade at Islands of Adventure and requires Park-to-Park admission.

Epic Universe, however, remains its own dedicated day under this offer.

So you’re essentially choosing between: $255 for one day at each of the three parks or $285 for two days with Park-to-Park access between Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure + one dedicated Epic Universe day. If you don’t care about park hopping or the Hogwarts Express, the $255 version saves you $30.

Universal Orlando has offered Florida Resident discounts before, but the inclusion of Epic Universe is what makes this promotion particularly interesting.

Epic Universe opened in May 2025 and dramatically changed the amount of time needed for a Universal Orlando vacation. The park is home to five immersive worlds: Celestial Park, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, Dark Universe, How to Train Your Dragon — Isle of Berk, and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic.

Rather than trying to squeeze Universal Orlando into the traditional two-park itinerary, this promotion essentially matches the resort’s current setup: three days for three theme parks.

Universal has simultaneously introduced a three-day, three-park promotion for the general public starting at $99 per day plus tax, while the Florida Resident offer drops that starting price to $85 per day. At those advertised starting prices, that’s a difference of $42 before tax across the three-day ticket.

Universal Volcano Bay is not one of the three parks included in this promotion. The ticket specifically covers Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, and Epic Universe. If you want to add a water park day, you’ll need to look at a different ticket option. Separately ticketed events aren’t included either. That’s particularly important during the fall because Halloween Horror Nights requires its own event admission.

So if you use your Universal Studios Florida day during HHN season, your regular daytime park admission won’t automatically allow you to remain for Halloween Horror Nights that evening. You’ll need a separate HHN ticket if you want to attend.

Universal is pairing the ticket promotion with another offer that could make a short staycation considerably cheaper.

Florida Residents Can Also Save on Universal Hotels

Florida residents can currently save up to 35% on rooms at participating Universal Orlando hotels for Sunday-through-Thursday stays through December 24, 2026.

Participating hotels identified with the offer include Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, Loews Sapphire Falls Resort, Universal Terra Luna Resort, and Universal Endless Summer Resort — Surfside Inn and Suites. As always, availability and savings vary by hotel and date.

For locals who normally drive home after a park day, it’s at least worth doing the math, particularly if you’re planning to spend a long day at Epic Universe and don’t feel like making the drive home afterward.

If you’re a Florida resident who wants to visit all three Universal Orlando theme parks before December 23, this is an unusually simple offer to evaluate. And because the visits don’t have to be consecutive, locals have more flexibility than an out-of-state visitor trying to squeeze three parks into one vacation. The bigger decision is whether you actually need Park-to-Park access.

If you want the Hogwarts Express or the freedom to bounce between Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure, the additional $30 for the $285 Park-to-Park version may make more sense. Just make sure to check the applicable blockout dates and Florida residency requirements before purchasing.

The Special 3-Day Florida Resident Ticket is available now, and all three visits must be completed by December 23, 2026.
