If you’re heading to Disney’s Animal Kingdom today, you’ll notice something new during one of the park’s newest live entertainment offerings.
Disney has announced that Zootopia: Better Zoogether! is receiving an update beginning today, bringing an exciting connection to the upcoming ZOOTOPIA 2 ahead of the film’s theatrical release.
The biggest change? Patrick Warburton is officially reprising his role as Mayor Winddancer for the updated version of the show, giving guests an early introduction to one of the new characters they’ll see in Disney Animation’s highly anticipated sequel.
Disney hasn’t announced any additional changes to the production, but the new scene featuring Mayor Winddancer adds another tie-in between the Disney Parks and the next chapter of the Zootopia story.
The updated Zootopia: Better Zoogether! is now playing throughout the day at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and joins several other Disney Parks experiences receiving refreshes ahead of ZOOTOPIA 2‘s release later this year.
If you’re planning a visit to Walt Disney World, it may be worth stopping by the show again (even if you’ve already seen it) to catch the newest addition.
