It may not be easy being green, but being a Disney World Annual Passholder could soon come with a very familiar frog-themed freebie.

Disney

Walt Disney World has started teasing its next Annual Passholder magnet, and although Disney is keeping the character’s identity under wraps for now, the clues are already creating plenty of Muppetational speculation. Between a colorful pond scene, a character who is reportedly comfortable in the spotlight, and a not-so-subtle reference to “Rainbow Connection,” Disney fans have a pretty convincing theory about who may be featured.

However, the mysterious magnet is not the only new Passholder exclusive Disney appears to have planned. The teaser also mentions an upcoming Disney PhotoPass experience and a limited-time treat, meaning Annual Passholders may have several new perks to watch for in the weeks ahead.

The promotional card is titled “It’s the Passholders Show!” and tells Annual Passholders that a new exclusive magnet is coming soon.

Disney has not revealed the featured character, but the teaser says the magnet’s character is “used to being in the spotlight.”

That wording could apply to plenty of Disney characters. However, the artwork surrounding the announcement makes the list of likely candidates feel significantly smaller.

The teaser features a whimsical pond scene filled with lily pads, water lilies, cattails, mushrooms, and soft rainbow-colored details. Another piece of artwork displayed in the app reads “New Passholder Magnet Coming Soon.”

Disney has not yet announced when the magnet will become available, where Passholders will be able to pick it up, or exactly which character will be featured.

Disney has not officially confirmed Kermit the Frog as the next Annual Passholder magnet character, but the clues certainly appear to be pointing in his direction.

Disney

The swampy pond environment immediately brings Kermit’s familiar home to mind. More importantly, Disney’s social media caption promoting the teaser reportedly references lyrics from “Rainbow Connection,” the beloved song most closely associated with Kermit the Frog.

The rainbow-washed treatment used throughout the promotional artwork seems to reinforce that connection.

Add in the line about the mystery character being comfortable in the spotlight, and Kermit becomes an even more convincing possibility. After all, he has spent decades performing onstage, hosting shows, making movies, and attempting to keep the rest of the Muppets under some level of control.

That last job alone deserves recognition.

Still, it is important to remember that Kermit’s involvement remains speculation until Disney officially unveils the magnet.

Disney Is Promising More Than a Passholder Magnet

The upcoming magnet is not the only Passholder perk mentioned in the My Disney Experience app.

According to the teaser, Annual Passholders can also expect:

  • A new complimentary Annual Passholder magnet
  • A special Disney PhotoPass experience
  • A limited-time treat
  • Additional Passholder exclusives

Disney has not shared any further information about the PhotoPass experience or the limited-time food offering.

We do not yet know whether these perks will all be available at the same Walt Disney World theme park, whether they will debut together, or whether Disney will roll them out separately.

The pond-themed imagery could be another clue regarding the location, but Disney has not confirmed where any of these experiences will take place.

The Timing Makes Sense for More Muppets Merchandise

A Kermit the Frog Annual Passholder magnet would fit Disney World’s recent focus on the Muppets.

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets opened at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on May 26th, 2026, bringing Kermit, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, and other familiar Muppets to the high-speed indoor roller coaster.

Disney

Disney has also introduced a growing collection of Muppets merchandise connected to the attraction. The collection has included apparel, pins, stickers, and other items featuring several members of the Muppets ensemble.

A Kermit-themed Passholder magnet would continue that momentum while giving Annual Passholders another exclusive collectible tied to the characters.

It would also make sense for Disney to continue promoting the Muppets throughout the summer following the opening of their reimagined Hollywood Studios attraction.

Where Could the New Passholder Magnet Be Distributed?

Disney has not announced a distribution location for the upcoming magnet.

Recent Walt Disney World Annual Passholder magnets have been distributed from locations including Creations Shop at EPCOT and Discovery Trading Company at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

However, previous distribution patterns do not guarantee that the next magnet will be available at either location.

Disney

Disney could choose another theme park, especially if the new magnet is connected to a particular character, attraction, or seasonal Passholder event. A Muppets-themed magnet could potentially point toward Disney’s Hollywood Studios, but there is currently no official confirmation that the distribution will take place there.

Annual Passholders should wait for Disney to announce the official location before making plans to pick up the magnet.

Once the magnet becomes available, Disney will likely share eligibility requirements, operating hours, pickup instructions, and any limits associated with the offer.

Kermit and Fozzy

Annual Passholder magnets are generally available while supplies last and may require Passholders to present a valid Annual Pass and government-issued photo identification. Exact requirements for this particular distribution have not yet been announced.

Because popular character magnets can attract long lines, Passholders should review all official details before heading to the designated pickup location.

Whether the magnet ultimately features Kermit or another Disney character, Passholders will soon have a new collectible, a special PhotoPass experience, and a limited-time treat to look forward to.

We will be watching for Disney to reveal the character, distribution location, availability dates, and additional Passholder exclusives.
