If you’re looking for a fancy character dining experience outside of the Disney parks, Good Morning Breakfast with Goofy & His Pals at Ravello, located inside Four Seasons Resort Orlando near Walt Disney World, is a great option.

We recently returned to Ravello’s character breakfast for the first time since 2021. In this review, we’ll cover everything from how to get there from Walt Disney World, what to expect during your visit, the food, and whether the character interactions are worth the price.
When Is Ravello’s Character Breakfast?
Good Morning Breakfast with Goofy & His Pals is typically offered on Thursdays and Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Occasionally, select Tuesdays are added depending on the season.

A few years ago, this breakfast was incredibly popular and one of the hardest Disney-area dining reservations to get. We remember having difficulty booking it for us.
Now, however, reservations seem much easier to find. Depending on when you visit, you may even be able to book just a few days in advance.
That said, since it’s only offered on select days, we’d still recommend making a reservation as soon as your travel dates are set.
Location & How to Get There
Ravello is an Italian restaurant located inside the Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort.

Staying at a Disney Resort? You’ll Need Uber or Lyft
Although Four Seasons Orlando is located within the Walt Disney World area, it is not a Disney-owned resort.
If you’re staying at a Disney Resort hotel, the easiest way to get there is by using Uber or Lyft. Disney transportation does not provide direct service to Four Seasons, so be sure to allow extra travel time before your reservation.
Parking
If you’re driving yourself, valet parking is the only parking option.
The valet service was complimentary during our visit, but don’t forget to tip the valet attendant when you pick up your vehicle.
Finding the Restaurant

After entering the hotel lobby, turn right and walk all the way to the end of the hallway. Take the elevator down to the first floor, where you’ll find Ravello.
Once you arrive, check in at the host stand using the name on your reservation.
Since this is a reservation-only dining experience, be sure to book ahead of time.
Restaurant Atmosphere

The first thing that surprised us was how quiet it was.
The last time we visited was in 2021 during the modified COVID-era experience. Before that, I had also visited in 2019, and we remembered it being much busier and more energetic.
This time, the restaurant felt calm and relaxed. There was no rush, and the overall atmosphere was much more peaceful than we remembered.
If you remember Ravello as the character breakfast that was nearly impossible to book, the experience today may feel very different.
What Happens After You’re Seated?

Once we were seated, our server quickly came over to take our drink order.
After that, we headed to the buffet to grab our food.
Everything moved smoothly, and because the restaurant wasn’t crowded, we never felt rushed throughout the meal.
How Was the Food?

To be honest, we think the food used to be better.
Compared to previous visits, I felt that:
- There were fewer food options.
- The overall quality seemed to have declined slightly.
The food certainly wasn’t bad, but compared to my 2019 visit, it didn’t leave quite the same impression.
Since this is Four Seasons, our expectations were naturally pretty high, which may have made the difference stand out even more.
Character Interactions Were Excellent

While we were a bit disappointed with the food, the character interactions completely made up for it.
Because the restaurant was fairly quiet, the characters visited our table multiple times throughout the meal.
We had plenty of time to chat, take photos, and enjoy each interaction without feeling rushed. It was easily one of the best parts of the experience.
Pricing
Here’s what we paid during our visit:
- Adult price: $60
- Total with tax: $63.90
- Around $75, including gratuity
Would We Go Again?
If someone asked us whether we’d return, my honest answer would be:
Yes—but probably not for another few years.
What We Loved
- Fantastic character interactions
- Relaxed atmosphere with very little waiting
- Characters visited our table multiple times
- Complimentary Disney PhotoPass downloads included
What Could Be Better
- Fewer food choices than before
- Food quality didn’t feel as strong as on previous visits
- Fewer kid-friendly options compared to Disney’s in-park character dining
- The food wasn’t quite the highlight of the experience
Final Thoughts
Compared to our previous visits, we felt that the food had lost a little of what made it special.
However, the character interactions were outstanding. Since the restaurant wasn’t very crowded, the characters spent plenty of time at each table, making the experience feel much more personal than many character meals inside the Disney parks.
If you’re looking for a unique breakfast during your Walt Disney World vacation or want to meet Disney characters outside the parks in a more relaxed setting, Ravello is definitely worth considering.
