Christmas may still be months away, but Disney is already giving fans something magical to look forward to.

If you’re already counting down the days until the holidays at Walt Disney World, you’ll want to add these festive photo opportunities to your Christmas bucket list. Disney PhotoPass has officially teased a first look at several holiday-exclusive Magic Shots, themed props, and special photo experiences that will be available during this year’s holiday celebrations, and they’re every bit as merry as you’d expect.
Shortly after Walt Disney World unveiled its lineup of holiday entertainment, parties, and seasonal offerings, Disney PhotoPass joined in on the excitement by sharing a preview of some of the magical photo opportunities guests can expect during the 2026 holiday season. While Disney says even more experiences are still to come, the first reveal already includes several returning favorites and festive surprises.

Guests attending Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom can look forward to several cheerful PhotoPass experiences throughout the evening. Disney teased a festive mistletoe Magic Shot, allowing guests to pose beneath holiday mistletoe with a magical Disney touch added later. Another featured photo opportunity includes an oversized peppermint prop that’s perfect for classic Christmas portraits, while a glowing gift box prop promises to create fun nighttime photos filled with holiday sparkle.

Over at Disney Jollywood Nights in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney PhotoPass is once again leaning into the event’s retro-Hollywood holiday style. Guests will have the opportunity to pose with the popular Ollie gingerbread-themed photo experience alongside additional festive gingerbread props. Disney also previewed the return of the fan-favorite Kermit and Miss Piggy Magic Shot, giving Muppets fans another unforgettable holiday keepsake. Rounding out the lineup is a vibrant neon sign photo opportunity that perfectly matches the stylish atmosphere of Jollywood Nights.

Disney emphasized that these are only a handful of the holiday photo experiences planned for this season, teasing that even more PhotoPass Magic Shots, themed props, and festive surprises will be available throughout Walt Disney World. Beyond the separately ticketed holiday events, guests can also expect seasonal PhotoPass offerings across all four theme parks, Disney Springs, and during the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. Memory Maker guests will be able to download these holiday photos as part of their package.

With Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Disney Jollywood Nights both returning later this year, these limited-time PhotoPass experiences offer one more reason to pack your holiday outfits and plan those perfect family photos. Whether you’re hoping for magical Magic Shots, festive props, or unique event-exclusive backdrops, Disney’s photographers will once again be ready to help guests capture unforgettable Christmas memories.
