A forgotten zoo. Warring cannibals. And you’re next on the menu.

Universal Orlando Resort has officially announced another original haunted house for Halloween Horror Nights 2026, and it sounds like one of the event’s most brutal concepts yet.
MADLANDS: Caged Cannibals will transport guests into a defunct zoo that has become the deadly territory of rival cannibal factions. According to Universal, the former inhabitants have embraced their animal instincts to terrifying extremes, creating a savage battleground where survival is anything but guaranteed.
The official description teases:
“In this haunted house, a defunct zoo is now the deadly domain of warring cannibal factions that have taken their animal instincts to extremes. They’re territorial. They’re hungry. And you’re lunch.”
Based on the announcement, guests can expect to navigate through the ruins of the abandoned attraction while encountering violent cannibal clans fighting over territory — and prey. With its post-apocalyptic setting and primal horror themes, MADLANDS: Caged Cannibals is shaping up to be one of the most intense original houses at Halloween Horror Nights this year.

Universal Orlando continues to slowly unveil the haunted house lineup for HHN 2026, with more announcements expected in the coming weeks.
