Your next royal visit to Magic Kingdom might look a little different.

If meeting Disney Princesses is on your must-do list, you’ll want to know about a temporary change taking place inside Princess Fairytale Hall at Magic Kingdom. Walt Disney World has quietly rearranged the princess meet-and-greet lineup, giving guests a different pairing than they’re used to for a limited time.
Located just behind Cinderella Castle in Fantasyland, Princess Fairytale Hall typically features two separate queues. One side is dedicated to Cinderella alongside a visiting princess, while the other pairs Princess Tiana with another visiting princess. However, that setup has temporarily changed.
Now, guests entering the left queue will meet Cinderella and Princess Tiana together. The right queue has been updated to feature two visiting princesses, with the sign outside displaying two generic princess icons instead of one. Depending on the day, those visiting princesses could include Rapunzel, Belle, Snow White, or others.

According to the official Walt Disney World website, this temporary arrangement will remain in place from June 7 through July 4, 2026. Disney has not shared a reason for the temporary character shuffle, and there has been no indication that the change will become permanent.
For guests planning character meet-and-greets, this means you’ll be guaranteed to meet Cinderella and Tiana together if you choose that queue, while the second line offers a surprise combination of visiting princesses. It’s a small operational change, but one that could affect which characters you prioritize during your day at Magic Kingdom.

As always, Disney character appearances are subject to change, so it’s a good idea to check the My Disney Experience app or the official Walt Disney World website before your visit for the latest character schedules and availability.
