Woody, Buzz, Jessie, and the rest of Andy’s (and Bonnie’s) toys are proving they still have plenty of life left in them. Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 5 has officially become the biggest opening weekend in the franchise’s history, giving Pixar another major box office win while also claiming the largest domestic debut of 2026.

For a series that first introduced audiences to computer-animated storytelling more than 30 years ago, it’s an impressive reminder that the Toy Story franchise continues to resonate with generations of moviegoers.
