More than 30 years have passed since Toy Story first premiered in 1995. The kids who grew up alongside Andy are now adults, many of them taking their own children to the movie theater. In many ways, Toy Story 5 feels like a film made for that generation.
Of course, it’s still a movie that children can enjoy on their own, but for those of us who grew up watching the original Toy Story, the story resonates on a much deeper level.
