Ready to meet two of Disney’s most lovable dwarfs? You might want to head to Hollywood Studios sooner rather than later.

Walt Disney World has quietly added a pair of rare character meet-and-greets to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, giving guests another reason to visit this summer. As part of the resort’s Cool KIDS’ SUMMER celebration, Dopey and Grumpy from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs are now greeting guests alongside another beloved Disney favorite — Rafiki from The Lion King.
For Disney fans who love hunting down uncommon character experiences, this is one you’ll definitely want to add to your must-do list.
Where Can You Meet Dopey and Grumpy?
Guests can currently find Dopey and Grumpy meeting together in front of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The pair rotates with Rafiki, meaning the two experiences alternate throughout the day rather than appearing simultaneously.

Disney has not posted official meet-and-greet times for these characters, but outdoor character appearances typically conclude before sunset. Because of that, guests hoping to meet them may want to visit earlier in the day.
Part of Cool KIDS’ SUMMER
The new character appearances are part of Cool Kids’ Summer, Walt Disney World’s seasonal entertainment offering that debuted on May 26.

At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Cool Kids’ Summer introduced a refreshed Animation Courtyard, featuring the new Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! stage show along with additional family-friendly entertainment and character experiences. Disney has also highlighted these offerings on the park’s official guidemap, making it easier for guests to discover everything happening during the event.
A Rare Opportunity for Disney Fans
While Disney’s Hollywood Studios is home to plenty of popular character encounters, Dopey and Grumpy aren’t characters guests can regularly meet in the parks, making these appearances especially exciting for longtime Disney fans.
Whether you’re collecting autographs, snapping family photos, or simply trying to meet every Disney character possible, this limited-time offering adds even more magic to a summer visit.

And if you’re lucky, Rafiki might be the next familiar face waiting to greet you.
