Disney’s fan-favorite behind-the-scenes series is officially making its return, and this time, it’s heading out to sea.

If you’ve been waiting for more behind-the-scenes Disney Parks content on Disney+, the wait is almost over. Disney has officially announced that Season 3 of Behind the Attraction will premiere on June 24, and this latest installment is taking viewers aboard Disney Cruise Line for an exclusive look at the fleet’s history and its newest ship, the Disney Destiny.

Unlike previous seasons, which explored iconic Disney Parks attractions like Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, EPCOT, and Tower of Terror, Season 3 will consist of a two-episode special focused entirely on Disney Cruise Line. The episodes will trace the fleet’s journey from the launch of the Disney Magic in 1998 through the development of the upcoming Disney Destiny, giving fans a rare behind-the-scenes look at the creativity, storytelling, and Imagineering that go into Disney’s cruise vacations.

The series is once again executive produced by Dwayne Johnson, Dany Garcia, and Brian Volk-Weiss, continuing the documentary’s tradition of exploring the stories behind some of Disney’s most beloved experiences.

Whether you’re a longtime Disney Cruise Line fan, have a sailing booked aboard one of Disney’s ships, or simply love learning how Disney magic comes to life, this special promises an in-depth look at the evolution of one of Disney Experiences’ fastest-growing businesses.
