If you were hoping to celebrate Halloween night at Disneyland Resort, you may already be too late.

Even though ticket sales for the 2026 Oogie Boogie Bash — A Disney Halloween Party have been noticeably slower than in previous years, one date has once again proven nearly impossible to secure. Halloween night has officially sold out, continuing a trend that Disney fans have come to expect every fall.

Disneyland Resort’s most in-demand Halloween event has already claimed its first casualty.

October 31, 2026, Halloween night, is officially sold out for Oogie Boogie Bash — A Disney Halloween Party at Disney California Adventure. While many other event dates remain available, the final party of the season has once again become the first major sellout of the year.

The news comes as something of a surprise when compared to recent years. Historically, many Oogie Boogie Bash dates have sold out almost immediately after tickets went on sale, with some years seeing nearly every event disappear within a single day. This year, however, sales have moved at a noticeably slower pace — even with Halloween itself now completely booked.

Ticket Sales Have Slowed, But Don’t Wait Too Long

While Halloween night is gone, guests still have opportunities to attend Oogie Boogie Bash throughout the fall.

According to Disney Tourist Blog, ticket demand has been softer than expected compared to previous years, especially when compared to the rapid sales for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Walt Disney World. Even so, Halloween night continues to be the exception, proving that the most desirable date remains just as popular as ever.

That doesn’t necessarily mean tickets for the remaining parties will last.

Weekend events, dates closer to Halloween, and select September and October parties have historically been among the next to sell out, meaning guests planning a Disneyland Halloween vacation may want to secure tickets sooner rather than later.

Why Oogie Boogie Bash Remains So Popular

Since debuting in 2019, Oogie Boogie Bash has become one of Disney’s most sought-after seasonal events.

The separately ticketed party gives guests access to exclusive entertainment, immersive villain-themed Treat Trails, rare Disney character encounters, specialty food and beverages, Halloween-themed merchandise, and lower attraction wait times throughout Disney California Adventure.

This year’s event also features a major entertainment change with the debut of Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake — A Haunted Mansion Street Party, replacing the traditional Frightfully Fun Parade while bringing a fresh Haunted Mansion-inspired experience to the event.

Combined with Halloween Time throughout Disneyland Resort, Oogie Boogie Bash continues to be one of the premier Disney Halloween experiences in the country.

Should You Buy Your Tickets Now?

If Halloween night was your goal, you’ll have to look at another party date.

Fortunately, most of the event’s offerings (including Treat Trails, entertainment, attractions, character encounters, and exclusive offerings) remain largely consistent from one night to the next, meaning guests can still enjoy the full Oogie Boogie Bash experience by choosing another available evening.

However, if history is any indication, remaining weekend dates and parties closest to October 31 likely won’t stay available forever. Waiting too long could mean missing out entirely.

Don’t Wait Until It’s Too Late

Halloween season is one of the busiest times of the year at Disneyland Resort, and Oogie Boogie Bash continues to prove why it’s one of Disney’s hottest ticketed events.

With Halloween night already sold out, now may be the best time to finalize your fall Disney vacation plans before additional dates begin disappearing.
