A long-running Disney Springs dining offering is beginning to vanish before guests’ eyes.

Just days after reports surfaced that the Disney Springs food truck area would be closing permanently, the first visible signs of that closure have already arrived. Guests visiting the West Side of Disney Springs are now noticing that one of the food trucks has been removed, signaling that the end of Exposition Park’s food truck era may be happening sooner rather than later.

The transformation of Exposition Park at Disney Springs appears to be officially underway.

According to new reports, the first food truck has now been removed from the food truck area on the West Side of Disney Springs, marking the beginning of a larger closure plan that is expected to eliminate all remaining food truck operations from the location.

The removal follows recent reports that Disney Springs would permanently close the food truck area in mid-June 2026. While Disney has not publicly announced the change, multiple reports have indicated that all of the remaining food truck operators are expected to leave the location.

The End of Exposition Park’s Food Truck Era

At the time the closure reports first surfaced, three food trucks were operating at Exposition Park: 4 Rivers Cantina Barbacoa Food Truck, Cilantro Urban Eatery Food Truck, and GoJuice.

The trio has served Disney Springs guests with a variety of quick-service options, including tacos, birria dishes, Cuban sandwiches, arepas, smoothies, and açai bowls.

The food truck area has been a fixture of Disney Springs for more than a decade, dating back to the Downtown Disney transformation project that eventually became Disney Springs. The dedicated Food Truck Park first opened in 2014 and served as a permanent home for Disney’s growing collection of mobile dining locations.

Over the years, the lineup evolved significantly, with various Disney-operated and third-party food trucks rotating through the area. Some became fan favorites thanks to unique menu offerings that weren’t available elsewhere around Walt Disney World.

What Happens Next?

While Disney has not officially confirmed plans for the space, reports indicate that the former food truck area is expected to be converted into additional guest seating once the remaining trucks are removed.

The location sits in a highly trafficked area of Disney Springs near Summer House on the Lake, Starbucks West Side, and several major shopping destinations, making it valuable real estate within the entertainment district.

As additional trucks are removed in the coming days and weeks, guests can likely expect more visible changes to the area as Disney prepares it for its next chapter.

A Disney Springs Staple Comes to an End

For many longtime Walt Disney World visitors, the food trucks represented one of the more casual dining experiences remaining at Disney Springs.

The offerings provided a quick alternative to many of the district’s table-service restaurants and gave guests the opportunity to sample unique dishes without committing to a full meal reservation. Over the years, the trucks became a familiar part of the West Side atmosphere and a popular stop for guests looking for something different.

Now, with the first truck already removed and the remaining locations reportedly expected to close in June, it appears that the era of food trucks at Disney Springs is quickly coming to an end.
