If you’ve been craving one of Tomorrowland’s most unique snacks, you may be out of luck.

Walt Disney World has quietly streamlined the menu at Energy Bytes, the TRON Lightcycle / Run snack kiosk located in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom. The change removes several opening-day offerings, leaving guests with a much smaller selection of beverages and frozen treats to choose from.
Energy Bytes, located near the entrance to TRON Lightcycle / Run, has updated its menu as of June 1, with several food and beverage items no longer available for purchase. The biggest change is the removal of the kiosk’s remaining snack offerings, resulting in a menu that is now focused primarily on frozen beverages.
According to the updated menu, the following items have been removed, including the Chocolate Cake Doughnut Holes with Mocha Sauce and Strawberry IceOform.

The Chocolate Cake Doughnut Holes were among the original menu items introduced when Energy Bytes opened alongside TRON Lightcycle / Run and had remained one of the location’s signature snacks.
What’s Still Available at Energy Bytes?
Following the menu reduction, only a handful of beverage options remain available.
The current menu now includes:
- Watermelon Slushy — $6.59
A refreshing frozen watermelon beverage perfect for Florida’s summer temperatures.
- Blue Coconut Slushy — $6.59
The bright blue frozen beverage continues to be one of the most visually recognizable drinks available in Tomorrowland.
- Bottled Water
Guests can also still purchase bottled water at the kiosk.
A Far Cry From Opening Day
When Energy Bytes first debuted as part of the TRON Lightcycle / Run area, the menu featured a variety of futuristic-themed snacks and beverages intended to complement the attraction’s digital aesthetic. Over time, Disney has gradually reduced the kiosk’s offerings, first removing the Digital Dumplings in 2023 before now eliminating the remaining dessert options.
The latest changes leave Energy Bytes operating with one of the smallest menus at Magic Kingdom, focusing almost entirely on frozen drinks and grab-and-go refreshments.
Another Menu Change at Walt Disney World
Disney frequently updates menus across Walt Disney World, adding new offerings while retiring items that may not have resonated with guests. While no explanation has been provided for the latest Energy Bytes changes, fans of the kiosk’s specialty snacks may want to look elsewhere in Tomorrowland for a quick bite.

For now, guests visiting TRON Lightcycle / Run will still be able to cool off with a frozen slushy before entering the Grid—but the days of grabbing doughnut holes or other specialty snacks at Energy Bytes appear to be over.
