Something mysterious is brewing in the streets of New York at Universal Studios Florida.

Halloween Horror Nights fans may want to take a closer look at the New York section of Universal Studios Florida.

New items have appeared in the window for “Boris Shuster Private Investigations,” complete with a collection of mysterious clues that appear to be connected to Halloween Horror Nights 2026.

Clues?

According to photos from @insideuniversal on X, the display includes a detective-style investigation board featuring a question mark, vintage ticket stubs, old advertisements, and several pieces of evidence pinned together with string. A torn poster visible in the display appears to reference “Madam Basiel”, though the full wording is obscured.

The office window is located above a “No Parking in This Block” sign and features the name Boris Shuster Private Investigations prominently displayed on the glass.

While Universal has not officially commented on the display, Halloween Horror Nights fans have already begun speculating that the setup could be teasing an original haunted house, event icon, or larger narrative connected to this year’s event.

Additionally, @kevinHeimbach13on X pointed out a few more easter eggs further suggesting the Madame Basiel presence.

Universal Orlando has increasingly used in-park easter eggs and environmental storytelling to tease upcoming Halloween Horror Nights announcements, making this latest addition particularly interesting for dedicated HHN fans.

At this time, no official details have been announced regarding the significance of Boris Shuster or the clues contained within the display.

Boris is on the case!

We’ll continue keeping an eye on this developing mystery as Halloween Horror Nights 2026 announcements continue to roll out.
