Disneyland is going ALL OUT this summer.

Disneyland Resort has officially unveiled its massive lineup of summer 2026 offerings, and between the ticket deals, nighttime entertainment, anniversary celebration experiences, returning fan-favorite shows, new character encounters, and limited-time summer activities, this may end up being one of the busiest summers Disneyland has had in YEARS.
From discounted tickets for kids to brand-new entertainment offerings and huge anniversary festivities, Disney packed this summer with experiences across both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure.

And yes — there is A LOT to cover!
Disneyland’s Kids’ Summer Ticket Offer Is Back
One of the biggest announcements for families is the return of Disneyland Resort’s limited-time Kids’ Summer Ticket Offer.

For visits between May 22 and September 7, 2026, children ages 3 to 9 can visit Disneyland Resort parks for as little as $50 per child with the special summer ticket promotion.
Disney’s summer ticket pricing includes:
- 1-Day Park Hopper Ticket — $50
- 2-Day Park Hopper Ticket — $100
- 3-Day Park Hopper Ticket — $150
Park reservations are still required, and availability may be limited on select dates. Multi-day tickets must be used within 13 days of first use or by September 7, whichever comes first.
For families planning a Disneyland trip this summer, this is one of the better ticket deals Disney has offered in quite a while.
Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary Celebration Continues All Summer
Disneyland’s massive 70th anniversary celebration remains one of the biggest focal points of the summer lineup.

Across the resort, guests can continue experiencing:
- New 70th anniversary décor
- Special entertainment offerings
- Anniversary merchandise collections
- Limited-time food and beverages
- Exclusive nighttime spectaculars
- Character costumes and experiences
throughout the resort.
Sleeping Beauty Castle continues to serve as the visual centerpiece of the celebration with anniversary medallions, colorful banners, and new decorative enhancements covering Main Street, U.S.A., and the hub area.
Disneyland’s 70th celebration merchandise lineup also continues expanding with apparel, collectibles, accessories, spirit jerseys, popcorn buckets, Loungefly bags, and retro-inspired souvenirs themed to Disneyland history.
Major Nighttime Entertainment Is Returning
Disneyland’s nighttime entertainment lineup this summer is STACKED.
The return of Paint the Night remains especially significant for longtime Disneyland fans after years of requests for the parade’s comeback. The nighttime spectacular features over one million LED lights, glowing parade floats, synchronized music, and appearances from dozens of Disney and Pixar characters.

Meanwhile, Wondrous Journeys continues bringing projection effects, fireworks, music, and Disney Animation storytelling to Sleeping Beauty Castle and Main Street, U.S.A.
At Disney California Adventure, World of Color Happiness! continues using fountains, projections, lighting, lasers, and music to celebrate Disneyland’s anniversary celebration with a new emotional storyline built around happiness and Disney memories.
Disneyland’s nighttime lineup may currently be stronger than anything happening at Walt Disney World right now.
Kids Rule Summer Brings New Family Activities
Disneyland Resort is also heavily leaning into the “Kids Rule Summer” theme throughout both parks.
Disney says families can expect interactive activities, dance parties, character encounters, limited-time entertainment, summer-themed experiences, and special family-focused offerings across the resort.

Disneyland Park specifically highlights several major attractions and experiences for families this summer, including Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, Radiator Springs Racers, and more.
The updated The Mandalorian and Grogu mission aboard Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run officially launched May 22 inside Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, giving guests an entirely new storyline and mission experience aboard the Millennium Falcon.
Bluey Is Officially Part of Disneyland Summer
One of the biggest additions for younger families this year is Bluey’s continued presence at Disneyland Resort.
Disney previously confirmed that Bluey and Bingo would appear at Disneyland Resort as part of summer offerings and family entertainment experiences.

The wildly popular animated characters have quickly become one of Disney’s most in-demand entertainment additions among younger guests.
Expect LONG lines for these meet-and-greets all summer!
Disneyland Hotels Are Offering Summer Deals Too
Disneyland Resort Hotels are also participating in the summer push with special vacation offers and hotel promotions available throughout the season.
Guests staying on property this summer can continue taking advantage of benefits, including Early Entry access, proximity to the parks, Disneyland-themed resort experiences, pool activities and entertainment, dining offerings, and resort-exclusive shopping and amenities.

Disneyland Hotel, Pixar Place Hotel, and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa all continue operating special anniversary-themed offerings this summer as well.
There’s Also New Food, Merchandise, and Seasonal Entertainment Everywhere
Disneyland’s summer lineup also includes a HUGE number of limited-time seasonal additions across the resort.
Guests can expect anniversary-themed snacks and desserts, specialty beverages, seasonal popcorn buckets and sippers, new summer merchandise, character-inspired menu items, interactive entertainment offerings, and updated attraction overlays and enhancements throughout Disneyland Resort.

Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar recently debuted new cocktails and collectible tiki mugs for summer, while additional themed food offerings continue arriving around both parks and Downtown Disney.
Disneyland’s summer entertainment lineup also continues evolving with pop-up performances, anniversary additions, and family-focused activities happening throughout the day.
This May Be One of Disneyland’s Biggest Summers in Years
Between Disneyland’s 70th anniversary celebration, new attraction updates, discounted kids tickets, returning nighttime entertainment, new summer experiences, Bluey appearances, seasonal food and merchandise, and expanded family offerings, it feels like Disney is trying to make summer 2026 one of the MOST packed Disneyland summers in recent memory!
