This may end up becoming one of the MOST popular family experiences at Disney World this summer.

Disney

Disney has officially revealed the first full look inside Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station in Disney’s Animal Kingdom ahead of the experience’s May 26 opening.

The new experience brings Bluey, Bingo, and the Heeler family into Animal Kingdom through interactive play areas, themed activities, character encounters, conservation tie-ins, and extensive environmental storytelling spread throughout the former Rafiki’s Planet Watch area.

Conservation Station Has Been Completely Rethemed

One of the biggest changes is just how heavily Disney committed to the Bluey overlay throughout Conservation Station.

Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station is a playful and immersive experience sure to leave you smiling. With mates all around, familiar tunes will get you moving and grooving all with an animal twist!  The newest addition to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park opens on May 26 in time for Cool KIDS’ SUMMER.

According to this first-look, the area now includes massive Bluey-themed murals, bright Australian-inspired colors, new interactive signage, character cutouts and props, updated queue spaces, Bluey-themed educational displays, and new themed flooring and wall graphics.

The old Rafiki’s Planet Watch branding has also been almost entirely removed, with Conservation Station once again becoming the primary identity for the area.

Making the space barely recognizable compared to its previous version.

There Are Interactive Games EVERYWHERE

Disney also built several interactive experiences directly into the attraction.

One of the biggest additions is the real-life version of “Keepy Uppy,” the iconic balloon game from the show. Guests can participate in interactive play moments with themed cast members, helping families move through various activity stations.

Additional themed areas include nature exploration games, animal-themed play stations, Bluey-inspired scavenger elements, interactive conservation activities, and family participation zones.

The experience heavily emphasizes active play and family interaction rather than functioning as a traditional ride or walkthrough attraction, which feels VERY aligned with the actual spirit of the Bluey series.

Disney Added Real Animal Experiences Too

Despite the heavy Bluey overlay, Disney still maintained the conservation and animal care focus that originally defined Conservation Station.

Guests can still view the veterinary treatment window, watch Disney veterinarians caring for animals, learn about wildlife conservation, and explore educational exhibits.

Disney also transformed the former Affection Section into the newly renamed Jumping Junction, which now features Australian-inspired animal habitats and experiences.

New animal additions reportedly include kangaroos, wallabies, and moe Australian wildlife theming.

Guests Will Need a Virtual Queue

Disney has already confirmed that Bluey’s Wild World will use a virtual queue system beginning on opening day May 26, due to expected demand.

Virtual queue distribution times include:

  • 7 AM
  • 10 AM

The 7 AM queue can be joined from anywhere with valid admission, while the 10 AM drop requires guests to already be inside Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Given the popularity of Bluey right now, Disney clearly expects this experience to draw HUGE crowds immediately. And honestly? They’re probably right.

We’ll continue following opening day crowds, virtual queue updates, additional details, and guest reactions from Bluey’s Wild World, so be sure to check back soon for more Disney World news and theme park coverage.
