Well…this is officially the end of an era in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

Spectrum News 13

After years of dividing Disney fans, confusing first-time visitors, and becoming one of the most talked-about snacks in Batuu, Green Milk has officially disappeared from the menu at the Milk Stand in Disneyland’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

Guests visiting Disneyland recently noticed that Green Milk is no longer listed on the menu at the Milk Stand inside Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. The frozen beverage had previously been sold alongside the much more popular Blue Milk since the land opened in 2019.

Now, Blue Milk appears to be the only permanent milk option remaining on the menu.

The change was first spotted by Disney fans visiting the land this week, and many longtime Galaxy’s Edge fans immediately reacted online.

Green Milk Was One of Disney’s Most Divisive Snacks

Inspired by the green milk seen in Star Wars: Episode VIII — The Last Jedi, the drink became infamous among Disney fans almost immediately after Galaxy’s Edge opened at Disneyland and Disney World.

Unlike Blue Milk’s fruitier flavor profile, Green Milk featured a more citrus-forward taste with tropical and floral notes that honestly tended to be VERY hit-or-miss depending on the guest.

Some fans absolutely loved it. Others…absolutely did not.

And if you’ve spent enough time reading Disney snack reviews online, you already know Green Milk became somewhat legendary for how polarizing it was.

Blue Milk Appears To Be Staying

At this time, Disney has not announced any permanent replacement for Green Milk at the Disneyland Milk Stand.

Blue Milk (the frozen plant-based drink inspired by the original Star Wars films) is still available for guests visiting Batuu. Seasonal specialty versions of both drinks have also appeared periodically over the years during events like Season of the Force and May the 4th celebrations.

It’s currently unclear whether Green Milk could eventually return as a limited-time offering in the future.

The removal of Green Milk is just the latest change happening inside Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge as Disney continues evolving the land with updated entertainment, seasonal offerings, and attraction changes.

Disneyland recently introduced updates tied to The Mandalorian and Grogu at Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, alongside new merchandise, character encounters, and entertainment offerings throughout Batuu.

Even though Green Milk may not have been everyone’s favorite snack, its disappearance still feels surprisingly nostalgic for longtime Galaxy’s Edge fans.
