Disney Cruise Line guests expecting to set sail aboard Disney Adventure this week instead saw their vacation abruptly come to an end before the ship ever left port.

Here’s everything we know so far about this cancellation.
Disney Cruise Line has officially canceled the May 7–11, 2026, sailing aboard Disney Adventure after the ship experienced significant technical issues while docked in Singapore.

According to reports from guests onboard, passengers embarked the ship at the Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore on May 7 for a scheduled four-night sailing. However, departure was delayed after the captain announced propulsion-related mechanical issues affecting the vessel.
Disney Adventure reportedly remained docked overnight while engineers attempted to resolve the problem. Approximately 24 hours after embarkation, guests were informed that the sailing would be fully canceled and that they would need to disembark the ship.

According to guest reports and Disney Cruise Line communications shared online, impacted passengers will receive:
- A 100% refund of the cruise fare
- Refunds for unused onboard purchases and services
- A 50% discount on a future Disney Adventure sailing

The Disney Adventure is Disney Cruise Line’s newest and largest ship and officially entered service earlier this year as the company’s first ship permanently based in Singapore. The vessel operates unique three- and four-night sailings that focus entirely on onboard experiences rather than port stops.

At this time, Disney Cruise Line has not publicly provided additional details about the exact nature of the technical issue or whether future Disney Adventure sailings could be impacted.
