Mickey Mouse…but make it high fashion? This new Disney collaboration is about to take over the runway.

A brand-new collaboration between The Walt Disney Company and Vogue is officially here, and it’s giving one of Disney’s most iconic characters a major high-fashion moment!
The two powerhouse brands have announced a multi-year creative partnership that will reimagine Mickey Mouse through the lens of some of the world’s most influential fashion designers, all leading up to Mickey’s 100th anniversary in 2028.

This isn’t just a one-off merch drop; this is a full-scale fashion initiative.
Through this partnership, select designers from around the world will be invited into Disney’s archives to explore decades of Mickey Mouse history, including vintage designs, silhouettes, and storytelling elements. From there, each designer will create their own modern, high-fashion interpretation of Mickey and Friends.
Each collection will reflect the designer’s unique creative style, meaning we can expect everything from elevated streetwear to runway-ready pieces inspired by Disney’s most recognizable character.

The first collection in this multi-year rollout will come from Alexandre Mattiussi, founder and creative director of Ami Paris.
His Mickey-inspired collection is set to debut in early 2027, kicking off what’s expected to be a series of highly anticipated designer drops over the next few years.

This collaboration positions Mickey Mouse as more than just a character — it reinforces him as a global fashion icon.
Disney has made it clear that this initiative is about blending heritage with modern creativity, allowing designers to reinterpret Mickey in ways that reflect current culture while still honoring his nearly 100-year legacy.
Vogue will play a key role as a creative consultant, helping shape how each collection is presented and discussed within the fashion world, bringing serious credibility and cultural influence to the project.
This partnership will roll out over multiple years through designer-led collection drops, cultural fashion moments and campaigns, and global product launches and experiences.
The goal? To connect Disney storytelling with fashion in a way that resonates across audiences worldwide — not just in parks or stores, but on runways and in everyday style.
Stay tuned for first looks, collection drops, and everything coming next as Mickey Mouse steps fully into his fashion era.
