EPCOT’s France pavilion films are finally coming back!

Disney

After weeks of refurbishment closure, Disney has finally confirmed when both of the pavilion’s beloved film experiences will return, giving guests a much-needed update on one of World Showcase’s most atmospheric stops.

Both Impressions de France and the Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along are currently scheduled to reopen on May 10, 2026, at EPCOT.

The two attractions share the same theater inside the France Pavilion, and both have been closed since late February as part of a routine refurbishment of the venue.

Once reopened, they will resume their usual rotating schedule inside the Palais du Cinéma, alternating throughout the day depending on showtimes.

These aren’t just filler shows — they’re some of EPCOT’s most relaxing and culturally rich experiences.

Impressions de France

This classic 18-minute film takes guests on a sweeping journey through French landscapes, architecture, and culture, all set to a classical score. It has been a World Showcase staple since EPCOT opened in 1982.

Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along

This playful retelling of the animated classic features familiar songs like “Be Our Guest” and “Gaston,” along with narration and character moments woven into a lighthearted sing-along experience.

Together, they offer a nice balance inside the pavilion; one calm and cinematic, the other fun and interactive.

Disney has described the downtime as a routine refurbishment of the theater space, which typically includes technical updates, projection maintenance, and general show quality improvements.

Because both experiences share the same building, they are usually closed together when upgrades are needed.

The France Pavilion has always been one of the most popular stops in World Showcase — not just for dining and shopping, but for its atmosphere and storytelling.

Between Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, the cobblestone streets, and the tucked-away cinema, it offers a blend of entertainment and relaxation that many guests build into their EPCOT touring plans.

We’ll continue tracking refurbishments, reopening dates, and entertainment changes across Walt Disney World.
