Disney just dropped a MAJOR reveal…and it’s taking us UP.
If you’ve been watching the transformation of Disneyland Paris closely, this is one of those updates you’ve been waiting for. Disney has officially revealed a brand-new attraction inspired by one of Pixar’s most beloved films, and we finally have a name and a timeline.
Coming to Disney Adventure World, the newly announced attraction is inspired by the fan-favorite Pixar film UP, and it’s set to bring guests into the whimsical, adventurous world of Carl and Russell.
According to reports, the attraction will be called “Wilderness Explorer Sky Swings.” Disney has confirmed the experience will center around a flying carousel-style attraction themed to UP, offering a family-friendly adventure high above the park.
When Is It Opening?
Disney has announced that the attraction is expected to debut in 2027, aligning with the broader expansion timeline for Disney Adventure World.
This places it right alongside other major additions coming to the park, including new lands, entertainment, and immersive environments designed to completely redefine the guest experience.
What Can Guests Expect?
While full details are still limited, early information suggests this will be a spinning aerial carousel attraction, giving guests the sensation of floating through the sky, very much in line with the iconic balloon journey from UP.
Think colorful visuals, sweeping views, and a lighthearted adventure that fits perfectly within the park’s evolving identity.
This marks yet another major step in Disneyland Paris’ ongoing transformation, as the park shifts from its original studio-focused concept into a fully immersive, story-driven destination.
Adding a Pixar-inspired attraction like UP helps round out the park’s lineup with something that appeals to families while still delivering that emotional storytelling Disney is known for.
And if this attraction captures even a fraction of the heart and magic of UP? It’s going to be something special.
