The 2026 runDisney Virtual Series medals have officially been revealed—and they’re leaning hard into nostalgia in the best possible way. The 2026 runDisney Virtual Series is bringing major retro energy this summer, with a lineup inspired by beloved Disney classics from the ‘90s and early 2000s. And honestly? This might be one of the most collectible medal sets we’ve seen in years.

This year’s virtual races include three themed 5Ks and one challenge medal—and each one is designed to celebrate iconic stories fans grew up with. The races (and their matching medals) include:

• Hercules-inspired “Go the Distance” Virtual 5K
• The Emperor’s New Groove-inspired “Kuzcotopia” Virtual 5K
• Pocahontas-inspired “Just Around the Riverbend” Virtual 5K
• And the “Extremely Goofy” Challenge, inspired by A Goofy Movie

Each medal embraces bold, retro-style designs that feel like they were pulled straight out of a Disney VHS collection—in the best way possible. And yes, if you complete all three 5Ks, you’ll unlock the Goofy challenge medal as a bonus reward.

The runDisney Virtual Series runs from June 1 through August 31, 2026, allowing participants to complete their races from anywhere—whether that’s your neighborhood, treadmill, or even your next Disney vacation.
