Universal Orlando has officially begun casting for Halloween Horror Nights 2026.

Auditions are now live for performers looking to take part in this year’s event, marking one of the first major steps in preparation for the annual fall experience. Here’s what to know.
Universal Orlando Resort has posted auditions for Halloween Horror Nights 2026, beginning the seasonal hiring process for the annual event.

The casting call is seeking performers for a variety of roles, including scareactors, stilt walkers, puppeteers, and other specialty performers.
Applicants are required to submit materials as part of the audition process, typically including a headshot, full-length photo, resume, and a video submission demonstrating performance ability.
Performers must be comfortable working in dark environments, fog, loud sound effects, and high-traffic guest areas, which are standard conditions during Halloween Horror Nights.

Previous experience is not required for all roles.
Auditions are being conducted through an online submission process, allowing applicants to apply remotely.

Halloween Horror Nights will take place once again this year at Universal Studios Florida, beginning August 28 through November 1.
The release of auditions signals the early stages of event preparation, with additional announcements (such as haunted house lineups and event details) expected in the coming months.
